Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Whimel Academy is a slow-paced time manager set at a fantastical school for witches, wizards, and budding mages. You’ll explore the campus, attend classes in subjects like herbology and potion-making, meet new friends, and maybe find a romantic connection.

Extracurriculars remain an integral part of life at Whimel Academy. Explore part-time jobs around campus to earn money and stat points towards different specialties. Shelve books in the library, grow new plants in the garden, or conduct research in the astronomy tower to earn money for events around the academy.
Your wages can be exchanged for a sweet treat in the dining hall, a new book downtown, or accessories for your dorm, including a record player and a cauldron. If you have a particular specialty–such as potion-making or painting–try selling your wares to fund future projects. As you work, however, be mindful of your energy level; you can take a rest in your dorm when needed.

As you grow more accustomed to campus, get to know your fellow students. A diverse set of in-game characters, each with unique interests and personalities, are excited to meet you. Interact with these students to increase your friendship level, creating more opportunities for meaningful conversation. Lifelong friendships and youthful romance are waiting to be discovered at Whimel Academy!

You can freely decorate your avatar, your room, and your beloved kitty. Collect and decorate to your heart's content to show off your unique taste and personality.
Immerse yourself in a charming fantasy world filled with delightful details, a cozy atmosphere, and slice-of-life experiences that transport players to a magical realm. Stepping into this world would be like coming back to a half-forgotten childhood home.

Specialize in different tracks of magic throughout the game. Different combinations of stats would grant you one of the 30+ endings when you graduate.

gioco carino.
love it
Fantastic game! It went above and beyond what I imagined. Immensely cozy and satisfying. Highly, highly recommend.

This game is very cozy and extremely replayable. Anytime I want to sit back and enjoy a simple game, i've turned to this one. It's fun to see how relationships evolve overtime and to see whats in the store each weekend. I've found myself seriously getting exited over re-doing the game just to see how the different characters act. The money aspect of the game is also quite intresting with all the diffrent ways to do it. I'm on my third play through and i still have charcters that i have never once interacted with and plenty of new things to earn money with. If you like easy games that you can just slowly move through, this is for you. I will likely be playing this for a long time.
really loved
First things first, I highly recommend you enter a nickname during character creation, otherwise you'll be known as something random (is it random or is it always Jenie?) with no way to say, "Actually, please call me *Chosen Name.*" I didn't realize that was the issue until I finished the game, and the whole time I was playing, I couldn't tell if it was a commentary on being trans or the dev's weird way of making a joke. I am now assuming it's because I didn't enter a nickname instead of either of those options. I really didn't like this, and there was no warning in the character creation settings that this would be the case. Overall, I really enjoyed playing this game! I liked being able to pick and choose things I excelled at, and I liked being able to make money or craft items to eat and sell. Since the characters all called me Jenie (except one), I stopped talking to them because I found it horribly annoying, so I can't comment on the romance or friendship much. I did have a few good friends and started on the romance path for two before I completely lost interest, but I didn't find this had much impact on the ending I got. I think you have to really focus your efforts on friendships/ romance if you want to impact the ending. In fact, I think that's true of everything. You have to go hard on one thing (attendance/ relationships/ specific attributes) if you really want to max out that thing. And you'll have to spend money or find a way to eat food to keep your energy up too. I think I will eventually do another playthrough, and when I do, I'll pick a specific thing or two that I want to max out instead of having a relatively balanced approach like I did this time.
This is a cute simpler slow paced management sim. The artwork is beautiful and there's easily over a hundred+ customization options to customize both your avatar and room. The characters seem surface level at first, but as you interact their stories come to life (and some get darker). It's a good beginner game if you're just getting into management sims, as I don't think you can really 'fail out' of the academy at any point. Some pointers for starting: - focus on getting your skill levels up for the first year (as interacting with characters will eventually have options locked behind stats, and if you're focusing someone down it'll take awhile before you can pick the more interesting options again. so start strong stat wise and then talk to your peeps) - buy the binoculars in the shop when you can (they show you exactly who is in what location instead of just saying *somebody* is there) - painting/potion making/alchemy are all good sources of money. (if you can for potions, grow your own seeds to minimize the initial cost and increase profit) - similarly, if you grow your own crops you can cook them to make food. (this is nice so that you have something to eat for energy if you're low on money, but it is random what stat gains/loses you get) - as you talk to the characters they'll show up less as you further their story (to slow you down a bit, i guess). I'd start talking to them at the start of year 2 once you have some stats to work with so you have time to interact and romance people if you want to. My one gripe with this game is a single playthrough is six years in-game, and with the simple gameplay system it's not the most engaging for being so long. I think four years would be a better length, and then the character arcs would just need to be sped up a bit to compensate. I focused on stats for too long (had herbology maxed at year 3) and despite my best efforts to talk to one character whenever I got the chance (starting somewhere around year 4/5) I did not get to romance them fully. Problem is, the game is long. I don't wanna go through another whole playthrough right away just to get the full romance. I think the game is best played in bursts: where you finish a playthrough, wait a few months, then do another one.
