What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state. As Edith, you’ll explore the colossal Finch house, searching for stories as she explores her family history and tries to figure out why she's the last one in her family left alive.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 13.86/day in the week to Aug 22 → 25/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very interesting game
игра оч прикольная но истории короткие. а так ваще кайф
It can be a little... do people still say 'twee' anymore? It can be a little that but it saves all the gut punches for the end. It's a bit too out there and clean (why is the house so well maintained? Why are all the deaths dealt with so weightlessly until the back half?) but still packs an impact and it's kind of nuts it took me this long to get to it.
沉浸但沉重
Solid story and worldbuilding. Wish there had been more to it than just walking around and occasionally interacting with things. The story could have definitely been expanded as well (maybe explaining WHY everyone died and in such odd ways), but I understand the appeal and why people like this game so much.
SPOILERS - If you have not played, go in with no context. Otherwise enjoy this stream of consciousness. What Remains of Edith Finch is worth a sit down and is largely an experience more than an actual gameplay in the traditional sense of tactics or monitoring a health bar. The storytelling itself is embedded within a clever layer of texts and environmental interactions, the vehicle to which vertigo (in the emotional and actual sense) is in bulk. I chose to play with M&K versus controller, it felt organic in that sense. There was so much depth and imagination in the storytelling that was one tragic event over the other. My heart broke especially for the little ones, genuinely cried and now I am scared of swings, toothpaste, and bathwater. Mostly I am afraid of being a parent and not monitoring my children, but this is the perfect PSA to use your brain when child rearing and not leave them unattended, starve them, or feed into their paranoia and encourage their psyche from spiraling. Strangely, this will always remain in my heart and has helped me understand the beauty and happiness one can find in death; although we should not be tied to the mythologizing of death as something to be admired. It really is a cautionary tale and I really enjoyed the open ended questions like what happened to Milton and Edith herself. Why does her son in the beginning and end of the story have a broken arm? Did Barbara really pass away from a mob or was it her boyfriend, did she trip on her roller blades and fall from the banister? All generations were unfortunately reckless, they were talented and driven, but also paranoid and mixed with parental neglect and false idolizations (who builds a cemetery before a home). Justice for baby Gregory.
Insanely good story and the audio and visuals blew my mind. This game was a creative masterpiece.
