I hate to complain for $6 but I've never been bored by something so short before. It just needed SOMETHING besides digging in a straight line.
It's just not good, unfortunately. It's like if Iron Lung was missing the tension and atmosphere, and instead had exactly two cheap jumpscares. Definitely also very high priced for the roughly 30 minute runtime. It teases you with the promise of having a mystery to figure out that just isn't there to find.
There are some rough edges, like weird light effects or getting stuck on terrain, but the game is playable.

The gameplay is really boring. You just dig from point A to point B while "spooky noises" are playing. The digging is tedious, and the only reward is a cheap jump scare. Wasn't scared

Though, you don't have much time to explore or appreciate it, as the game is extremely short. It took me 45 minutes to complete it. Gameplay is repetetive, as you hack your way through the flesh of the whale for the whole time, just to discover some lore and get 3 jumpscares. I like the concept and the aesthetic of this game, but it's hard to recommend, even on such a low price.
i liked it for what it was. I think comparing this to other games is pretty silly. Got me good in 1 spot in the middle. nice sounds and environmental story telling
very short, use similar technology as found in other but casual farm sim game like My Time At Portia for mining, has jumpscare ending, overall 6/10.
Ein kurzes, heftiges Spiel. Schön oder positiv ist hier gar nichts - aber es ist eine lohnenswerte Erfahrung. A short, intense game. Nothing is pretty or positive here - but it is a worthwhile experience.
A short but sweet atmospheric horror game, very tense atmosphere and creative spin on horror with hole digging action.
