werewolves (in wolf-shape) can have sheepish looks on their faces? that is just sloppy writing ... the game is very black and white. it lacks depth. and some options are like 3 out of 4 would be downright moronic / utterly idiotic. and the last one sort of makes sense. so i picked that one and was praised for my clever question. it wasnt too clever, only compared to the other idiot choices. it is almost like the writers want you to play as an idiot. "here, there is another chance just do or say something that makes you look or sound like an imbecile." the is a large werewolf camp with hunters, scouts, warriors etc. but nobody secures the perimeter. the scouts dont scout. there are no sentries. so a bunch of human freaks can waltz in and attack. because it was scripted, they stumbled across me and i could warn the camp, okay. but had i not been there, every werewolf would have been surprised be the lynch mob -- sure, makes total sense. the first one was okay-ish. but the second werewolf game ... no, it is not thought through, sorry. edit: just sloppy. a werwolf almost attacked me, but i talked her out of it. the next pages are about the aftermath of her attacking me. the trauma i suffered from her attack -- what attack?? this is just ridiculous. just lazy.

Yes! This one is my favourite so far. Jeffrey Dean scores again with the intriguing story following up the chaotic battle of Haven. Everything I loved in the first game is here and more. Dean did his homework and knows how to describe werewolves. Now we are playing with the big boys, crazy experiences and a government that is still divided by the existence of werewolves. A must have continuation of the series.
During my first playthrough, I really enjoyed "Werewolves 2: Pack Mentality" and how the romances developed. Not to mention the exciting action and thrilling storytelling. This time, however, even though I played a very different build, I still got almost the exact same result which put a damper on what would’ve been a glowing review. (5/10) At certain points in the game, such as if you decide to fight an imposing general, it doesn’t matter how high your combat stat is because you will always fail since the story needs that to happen to get you to the intended ending. Another annoyance is how every important character you decided to kill in the first game somehow seems to have survived, and in some cases, survived after getting killed several times. When it seems no one can truly die, it lessens the impact of the fights and makes the outcome unsatisfying. Also, like in the previous game, even if you suspect or find out who the new traitor is before the big reveal, you can’t do anything about it. The flashbacks were less frequent, adding to their importance, which was a welcome change. I just wish there had been more improvements like those. Finally, if you happened to start a romance with Bly previously but then decide to create one with Tiva in the second game, you never get the option to talk to Bly about it, and she won’t even react when she sees you and Tiva kissing by the end, which struck me as odd. I’m all for an open relationship, but if they hadn’t even talked about it, it seemed odd Bly would react like that and it felt like an oversight the writing did not bother to address. As a result, I found this game inferior to the first one in the series, but I’ll give the game a positive review since a neutral one isn’t possible, and a negative one would be ill-deserved. (5/10)
very good :)
História muito boa, mais uma vez. Merecia virar filme! Mal posso esperar o lançamento do 3° Werewolves!
Nice ;)
Loved it! A compelling story about what I could definitely see happening if humanity discovered werewolves.
If you liked the first one you'll like the second one almost for certain, one thing to keep in mind is that the story is a lot darker this time around since we're dealing with rebellion and actual fights for freedom. Still while it is hard to keep hopeful and ''pure'' rather than giving in to the darkness of other characters, the author says you will get your reward in the next one, if you do.
The sequel i needed. Everything is just perfect and the new characters are well written, though i dislike Maker a bit. I'm waiting for Werevolves 3!
