Werewolf: The Inner Beast

This game sucks. Wonky animations, sub-standard-quality (even for indie developers), many bugs and tons of typos in the text and even menus. I agree with the user "Paul Blart, Mall Cop". Getting a refund.

You are Jessica, a woman that's kidnapped while sleeping naked, taken to a spaceship and get experimented on until she becomes a lycan. Then you wake up butt naked on a spaceship and everything went to ♥♥♥♥, survival horror time! It's an ok game, but I think it's kinda pointless without the NSFW stuff. The developer is friendly and keeps updating the game, the shooting has improved A LOT since day one, now it's possible to avoid getting hit for long stretches of time. Main character is sexy and has an interesting personality, too bad the other characters don't measure to her level and the story could've been better told via comic book style, or flashy art and stuff. I wish I bought the NSFW version instead, maybe add it as a free DLC? wink wink lol

This game is okay, but kind of lame tbh. Another reason why I can't recommend it is that it's just an upgraded version of the one they already released a year ago, but they don't remove the old version. So I bought two versions of the same game, and that's lame. Remove the old version so people don't accidentally buy it! jeez.

WARNING: If you make it to the HUB and it says you can now go to the Safehouse...DO NOT GO TO THE SAFEHOUSE as you will have to redo everything again at the top of the stairs. Apparently you have to finish the life support and subsidiary systems, but that's just a guess as the game doesn't say a damn thing. I just ran out of ammo and died because of this stupid crap. Used all my credits to buy ammo only to expend every last bullet re-clearing the cargo bays for the 2nd time. It said once in the HUB you can then goto the safehouse and then go wherever by loading that level. Nope, that is NOT what happens. I am beyond livid at this. Grinding the entire game to get to the HUB, thought I could take a break...nope. Now it looks like I have to start over...thanks. The save system in this game is utter crap.

Everything was great about it. Now we need a part 2 and or some dlc's included. It was a fantastic game

I originally played Project Werewulf, and while I did enjoy it overall, I was not a fan of the NSFW content and scenes. They just are not my thing, but I was seriously impressed with the horror vibe and setting. I hoped, but never expected a SFW-ish version to be made, but I am very happy the developer(s?) gave us The Inner Beast. Although, still very adult themed, it is dialed back a lot from Project, and I really appreciate that. The horror elements get a chance to shine here, and I believe these are done very well here. I would loved to see this series expand over time, as there is potential here. It is still a B movie gaming equivalent, but it gets more right where it counts. The story is passable, but the writing and acting in places is quite bad, however, the excellent setting and immersion help prop up the lesser narrative. The gameplay is also surprisingly well implemented, (again) however, I would recommend playing with aim assist on controller, as the stick dead zone can cause issues. I hope I do not sound too harsh in my criticisms, I would really like to see this game turn into a series with tighter writing and acting.

Total throwback vibes! This indie game nails that classic B-movie feel. Jessica is such a lovable protagonist, and the atmosphere is cool.

Have to hold down shift to run. Gets really annoying. Original had a tap shift to jog option. Couldnt do it anymore than a couple minutes. Waste of money

I've never played such kind of games like this. Definitely It's very interesting to playthrough this game, which contains erotic and horror scenes at the same time. it would be really cool if you could create your own female person at the beginning of the game. ( The colour of eyes, type of face and so on ) There are some disadvantages in this one: You can't move the text of the documents to the left or to the right to read all the information. In my opinion if this game would be more kind of monsters that would be much more interesting.

Независимо от того, что игра, лютая индюшатина, всё-равно рекомендую пробежаться. По моему мнению ликантропы насильники, откровенно не вписываются ни в сюжет ни в антураж. Если бы их заменить на чудовищ из The Thing, смотрелось бы намного лучше. И ещё, у игры чувствуются вайбики Æon Flux, вся эта обнажёнка, замкнутые пространства, переплетения коридоров, сумасбродный сюжет, футуристическое оружие, но всё впечатление портят, озабоченные ликантропы, тупые диалоги, неуместное употребление нецензурной лексики, ну и общая постановка событий с уже надоевшими триггерами. Ещё бы к недостаткам добавил, нехватку вертикального геймплея и общие размеры помещений, они ну уж очень велики и пусты.
