I can't watch Markiplier's videos through the game's navigator, it always crashes. >:,(
Game was a buggy unbeatable mess at launch, still is buggy after the patch. creator straight up lied about some bug fixes. The queue system is awful, I had three separate threats happen simultaneously RIGHT AFTER I WAS DONE HIDING FROM AN ASSASSIN (hacked, power outage, AND the banjo song with locked doors because of the power) leading to an insta kill with absolutely nothing I could've done. the save system is better than nothing, but still awful, it just saves in hour increments with zero indication on screen other than the clock at the pc, leaving you to the mercy of the situation you were in as the clock hour turned. Youre given almost zero explanation as to what's happening, and what little you are told about the systems and enemies is through a stupid file on the image pc AFTER the games started that youre reading in REAL TIME. I haven't seen a single streamer or youtuber read everything without the power cutting out, or the internet breaking down, or tanner vaulting over their desk killing them. The sound cues are awful, half of them don't even mean anything or sound nearly identical to ones that WILL KILL YOU if you don't react in accordance to. The hacking noise even after the patch is still god awful loud, you can't turn it down but you can't turn your audio down because you need to hear the damn lock being picked behind you, The entire game is a struggle and a slog and feels impossible to learn sometimes, and it really sucks because the game is EXTREMELY interesting. The entire idea of interacting with all of these systems while under the pressure of The Game is awesome, the atmosphere is amazing! and when the game works its genuinely terrifying and fun. But even after browsing multiple discord servers for info the game either misdirected me in or just flat out refused to convey, even after all of that when you start to barely get a grasp of what to do, the game decides to throw everything it has regardless of what you've done, regardless of what youre already dealing with, and regardless of having just started the game. The game overall needs work and a LOT of balancing changes. the tutorial files should be accessible from the menu and should properly convey what you're supposed to be doing so you're not in dark. There should be something ANYTHING in place to prevent three events happening in the span of 2 seconds, and with things happening CONSTANTLY, it gets to a point where you don't even get a chance to breathe let alone scan through the web pages that you have to be attentive to. The game slowly goes from being fun and engaging and scary to being infuriatingly slow and frustrating, I don't feel fairly punished when I lose all my rep because I physically can't buy another hack counter before a new hack begins, I feel like I'm wasting my time. Welcome to the game 3 isn't hard, its unfair

I think I know what the next game will be. This, but multiplayer. A multiplayer version of this would be the next popular game.
I have to give this game a thumbs down. I was very excited for this game. I loved the previous entries (although I never played them), and went into this one with my head held high. I knew it was going to be hard, I knew that the creators of these games love to be hard on their players, but I think that what they were really lacking in this game was enough fun. I started my playthrough of the game where if I lost, I would go back to the previous hour and continue from there. Between the many hacks, the lack of knowledge on the killers, bugs in the game, the various services offered, the cool looking interface, and the very mysterious characters. I pushed through this. I died so many times, but I kept on trying and trying. Finally the game started getting really fun when everything was coming together. I felt like I knew it all and was able to navigate the game very well, and that was a great feeling. I was going to give this game a thumbs up, until the end of my run. I was going to say something like 'yeah, it's hard, but it's worth the trouble'. That was until this happened: I had just reached another hour mark (another checkpoint), and then lost because of a certain something (I don't want to spoil what it is), I was forced to lose the game. I kept on going back to that checkpoint to try again, but I had no time at all to respond and I repeatedly lost. There was no way around it. The run was over because of terrible luck. My 27 hours of progress all lost because this game has to be that cruel. I even tried playing the game again, but I kept getting bad luck, against opponents that I couldn't really do anything about. That killed the game for me. I was excited for it, but now the excitement is gone. I don't want to play it anymore because the luck and killing is too unforgiving. This game lacks very much fun. It's only fun at the end when you have figured it out and have beaten the game, but it isn't fun other than that.
I'm pretty sure I'm the first 84 year old man to beat this game ! At my age I can tell you this game will ruffle your feathers ! My only complaint is that the game was a bit too easy for me, but I suppose that's what you get when you've been playing videogames for 60 years. I'll tell you, had more jump scares getting called by the misses haha ! I look forward to Adam's reply, and hopefully Welcome to the game 4 will be a bit more challenging for this old brain (-:
My internet in game was going out every single minute back to back.
money grab - diabolical gameplay
Best game in the series with the most demanding learning curve (number of mechanics and things to multitask). Devs are dropping daily patches to address numerous bugs at launch which made the game unplayable and impossible, which most of the negative reviews are about. Most of the game-breaking bugs seems to have been fixed already in just 4 days. The difficulty is punishing but also forgiving on normal mode due to the new checkpoint system with every in-game hour. Remember that these games are designed to be overwhelming and extremely difficult when you first start out knowing nothing: Expect to die a lot. There will be lots of trial and error, especially with the less you know about the mechanics. Non-spoiler tips and recommendations for everyone: • If you have any problem with audio in this game (like inaudible audio cues, or too loud hack sound), please apply Loudness Equalisation for your audio device in windows sound settings, it will fix (or at least help) everything without feeling like a cheat. Just remember to enable/disable it whenever you open/close the game, and keep this window open so you can easily do it. • The slots gambling mechanic is not at all necessary to win, getting lucky can help but you'll be fine without ever touching it. • Normal Mode has checkpoints every in-game hour. Make use of these to learn the game. It's very nice that you don't have to reset the entire run when learning, though you may feel a desire to reset runs as a learning opportunity to go for a better strategy! • At the start of your run, install A.C.R.S. I'm not sure why this isn't part of the tutorial! • Make plenty of use of the steam overlay's built in note taking feature. I like all the new models and the voice acting. The new animations especially are a big improvement. I don't like how obnoxiously loud the hack sound is. The Windows audio loudness equalization tip I talked about above slightly helped with this, because it meant I could play the game at a little bit lower volume overall, but still... it's really loud.
