+ You can play slot machines - No romance with Ms. Noir... - No photo of Adam (he's sexy)
This game walks a very thin line between bad game design and "difficulty". Overall I guess I'm a complete masochist because I keep playing it.

Amazing!
I've been following Adam for a long time. I've watched his streams and supported the development of the game through comments, suggestions when requested, and Twitch subscriptions. I love WTTG3, and I would definitely recommend it. Adam has truly taken the spirit of the previous game to the next level. The performance is great. I even tried playing it on the Steam Deck, and with a few custom control shortcuts, it's completely playable. Don't do it—I'm just saying that it's possible! That said, what people are saying isn't entirely wrong. The game currently has several bugs that need to be fixed before it can be considered fully playable:

Audio bugs
Overlapping door collisions
Multiple threats occurring simultaneously and unfairly ending a run
Repetitive sequential threat events, such as Lucas visiting multiple times within a short period
In my opinion, a few quality-of-life improvements could also be added:

Adjust the in-game economy. Right now, earning a reasonable amount of money within a decent amount of time is too difficult and heavily dependent on specific situations.
Don't lock the threat and hacking tutorials behind an in-game payment. They may not be necessary during future runs, but locking them makes the beginning unnecessarily difficult. This could drive players away before they have had the chance to understand how the game works.
If I manually remove a miner, give me the option to install it on another computer instead of treating it as consumed. If I get hacked, that's a different situation, and losing the miner would make more sense. The current system has caused softlocks for several players, including me.
Not everyone can understand spoken English, so subtitles should be added to the game's intro.
Add a notification icon when a checkpoint is created.
Again, none of these changes are absolutely essential. They are simply the improvements I would like to see in order to make the game truly enjoyable. I still love the game and believe it has a lot of potential. With some bug fixes and balancing improvements, it could become an excellent successor to the previous chapters.
Amazing game. It felt amazing to come back to this series.
I love the concept of the game but dear ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god it requires you to become deaf to play it. One of the killers (named Tanner) has a very quiet sound cue, a bush rustle, but this is completely pointless if he shows up when you get hacked. Why? This is because the hacks in this game obliterate your speaker for several seconds the moment they start, rendering sound cues impossible to hear. This isn't helped by the fact you can get BACK TO BACK HACKS, literally the second after you finish a hack, you can get hacked again and this has happened 4 times in less than 10 runs. "Just use motion detectors" 2 problems with that. In order to get motion detectors early I have to basically gimp my early game dos coin earnings to just get two of them. Even then, and I ♥♥♥♥ you not, the hacking sound is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loud that it actually made me miss the motion sensor sound cue, resulting in me dying by Tanner once more on a decent run. The sled item is also an option since it skips a hack, but now its price has been increased in a recent patch, making it gimp early game doscoin farming EVEN more. Keep in mind it barely saves you from double hacks, because... there's 2 hacks back to back, and you likely cant afford 2 early into the game without severely impacting your run. I also forgot to mention several other killers also rely on jumpscare sounds as part of their loop, so your headphones peak volume very frequently. Literally one of them (Cletus) will jump scare you every once in a while with an absurdly loud stinger just so he can take a bag of meth out of your pocket (or stab you if you don't have it lol). Game is cool, but holy ♥♥♥♥ if you want to survive, get ready to crank up your volume and have your headphones obliterate the sound barrier when: -You get hacked (common occurrence btw) -Cletus comes to grab meth -You get killed by any killer -The Breather decides to show up.
