보안관과 현상금 사냥꾼과 악당들과 종교인들과 마녀들과 꿈꾸는 자들과 늑대인간과 돼지인간과 원주민이 판치는 개판인 서부에서 총을 쏘고 다니며 각 주인공들의 인생을 돌아보는 게임 위어드 웨스트입니다. 홍수 맙소사! 현상금 사냥꾼을 시작으로 어느날 갑자기 낙인이 생겨난 5명의 캐릭터들을 순서대로 플레이하게 됩니다. 각 주인공들이 겪는 일을 중심으로 스토리가 진행되고, 동시에 주인공들에게 왜 낙인이 생겨났는지 그 이유가 조금씩 드러나는 서사 구조를 취하고 있습니다. 주인공이 넘어갈 때마다 서부의 모습도 주인공과 연관되었던 다른 캐릭터들의 삶도 조금씩 바뀌어 갑니다. 이를 바꾸어 말하면, 이런 변화들을 잘 캐치하지 못한다면 스토리가 이어지지 않고 뜬금없게 느껴질 가능성이 있다는 것입니다. 게임 내부에 저널이 있기는 하나 엄청나게 세세한 저널까지 제공하지는 않는 만큼, 본인이 원래 다크소울 스토리마냥 떡밥을 찾아 엮어내는 데에 도가 텄거나 또는 잊어버릴 때마다 외국 사이트에 검색을 돌려 찾아내실 정도의 의욕있는 플레이어가 아니시라면 신중하게 구매하시기를 추천드립니다. 그 외에도 맵 자체가 변경되는 건 아니고, 현상금 사냥 등을 할 때에 비슷한 장소가 자주 걸리며, 여러 마을이 있지만 그 마을만의 특성이 드러나는 뭔가가 있는 정도는 또 아니다 보니, 이런 부분은 다소 반복적이고 루즈하다고 느껴질 가능성이 있습니다. 개인적으로 첫번째부터 세번째까지 주인공들은 마을도 다 돌아다니고 무기 강화도 하고 사이드 퀘스트도 많이 깨고 했는데, 네번째 주인공은 스토리 자체는 재미있었지만 현상금 퀘스트는 지겨워져서 하지 않았습니다. 마지막 주인공을 할 때쯤엔 맵을 돌아다니기도 귀찮아 사이드 퀘스트도 거의 안 하고 스토리만 빠르게 밀었습니다. 그래도 스토리는 재미있었습니다. 전투 시 우클릭을 하는 순간 시점이 고정되어서(이건 옵션으로 변경되기는 하는 것 같습니다) 처음에 전투에 적응하는 데에 약간 시간이 걸릴 수 있습니다. 적응만 되면 소총 뻥뻥 쏘고 다니시면 됩니다. 사실 저는 엑스컴 방식 전투인 줄 알고 샀는데 그건 위어드 웨스트가 아니라 하드 웨스트이니 두 게임 간 착오 없으시길 바랍니다. 세계관과 스토리가 매력적이었기에 가끔 다시 생각날 것 같습니다.
打完试完版入的，然后放库里好久好久，终于在这个夏天捡起来打完了。我万万没想到试完版几乎是可玩的所有。重复得我闭眼都不会走错的地图，一如既往的那套西方常见的对错与长生观念，一群几十年生命的短生种在这里认定长生必定会痛苦……反正剧情无聊到暴，开局就能知道结局。好在近几年我已经对他们讲故事的能力和三观不抱有任务期待，按照我自己的价值观在这片诡异的西部荒野上惩恶扬善，随心所欲就完了。 148入纯属怨种，但我好像是几十块入的，那就算了。一场电影钱，打发30+小时还行
游戏资源太宝贵，游玩内容极其重复，几个老地方跑来跑去，换主角难道就能增加游玩新意了吗？我又没失忆。
Good game. combat is a little clunky, shallow, and got boring near the end. art style is amazing, setting is super fun, but the actual writing was kinda meh. I got about 20 hours of playtime (7 on the demo, 15 on this, afk for abt 2 hours). worth getting on sale but not for 40$
Really fun western action RPG with a horror type of twist. Not scary horror, but you’ll sometimes be fighting supernatural type enemies like banshees and what not. It’s a lot of fun, good story, and a good amount of content to experience. It’s good to see developers try new things within the western genre, which I enjoy. Definitely gives Undead Nightmare vibes. The combat system is satisfying and fun. Definitely a great value for the price of the game. Definitely recommend at least one full playthrough. Runs okay on Steam Deck, but even better on PC which is how I prefer to experience it. Definitely playable on the Steam Decl, though. Which is always a welcome and surprise how many fun games run well on it.
