Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fantastic immersive sim styled RPG set in a twisted version of the wild west. The gameplay loop is incredibly addictive while the world is immersive. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a wild west themed adventure which presents the player with options.
Tinha curiosidade devido à participação de alguns dos fundadores da Arkane na Wolfeye, devs deste jogo. Immersive sim, velho oeste, party based, action shooter. Tudo pra ser divertido, mas não me prende. Me passou uma experiencia genérica, o combate não é tão interessante, os encontros são random e o jogo parece ser procedural. A narração é legal e podia participar mais do jogo.
Game Overview
Weird West: Definitive Edition is a unique game that blends western, fantasy, and horror themes. It incorporates gameplay elements from various genres, including looter-shooter, RPG, stealth, and hack & slash. This combination sets it apart, providing players with a diverse and immersive experience.
Gameplay Length and Approach
My playthrough lasted 46 hours, during which I participated in a fair number of secondary activities that were not required to complete the main story. The game world features numerous locations that are not directly connected to the main quest. While exploring these areas can yield weapons, items, and ingredients, they contribute little toward finishing the game. I recommend focusing on the main storyline and selecting a few side activities, rather than investing too much time in exploration. The primary challenge lies not in difficult combat encounters, but in using stealth to take out most enemies before resorting to open confrontation. Pure force often leads to repeated reloads, as combat mechanics are not particularly well-executed.
Story Structure
Unlike traditional RPGs, you do not create or customize a single character. Instead, the narrative follows the stories of five distinct characters, each with their own backgrounds. However, after completing the first character’s story, you will have experienced most of the game’s mechanics and dynamics. The remaining stories reuse the same weapons, items, and map as the first, resulting in a sense of repetition. While there are some variations, most content will feel familiar. The experience would likely have been stronger if the game had focused solely on the first character and been shortened to about 20–25 hours.
Core Gameplay Mechanics
During exploration, you navigate a 2D map representation where your character moves automatically, uncovering new locations as you progress. These areas remain hidden until discovered. Entering a location is as simple as clicking on it and waiting, unless you encounter unexpected events along the way. Upon arrival, gameplay shifts to a 3D, isometric top-down perspective. In these locations, you can gather items and ingredients for crafting, take cover behind objects, and move stealthily to avoid detection by enemies. Eliminating enemies can be approached in several ways: shooting with one of five different weapon types or grenades or sneaking up to stun them undetected. Stealth is particularly important at the start, as alerting enemies can quickly escalate encounters. Defeated enemies drop items, ingredients, weapons, or ammunition.
Cities and Shops
Cities feature various shops where you can purchase necessities. However, not all cities offer every type of shop; some lack specific services, which are clearly marked on the map for convenience.
Stealing and Reputation
You have the option to steal items, weapons, or horses. Be cautious, because getting caught leads to a loss of reputation and possible arrest. Stolen horses are only usable once; if you want a permanent horse, you must purchase it.
Final Thoughts and Rating
There is much more to discuss about Weird West: Definitive Edition, but in summary, while the game offers an intriguing mix of genres and a rich setting, it falls short in some areas. The extended duration and underdeveloped mechanics, particularly in combat, can make the experience feel tedious at times. Despite its flaws, I encourage players to give it a try, keeping in mind its imperfections. Overall, I would rate the game a 7 out of 10.

:)
Really enjoyed this game. Combat is interesting, the varieties of characters are unique, and between each story path, you feel that you have changed things in the world. The ambiance the world sets out to make is fantastic, and overall I'm super pleased after my time with it. The combat was really fun, though does take some getting used to. I would say its worth picking up, but if you're someone who is unsure about the combat, get the demo, try it out, and then jump into the game properly if you liked the demo.
Start a fight against a bear while drunk.
Das Spiel hat mir sehr Spaß gemacht. Schade, dass es nicht so viel gute Wild Western-Spiele gibt.
