Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

WW is a hidden gem. Kinda hard to get into due to somewhat iffy controls and camera angles. It is also a technical mess, it should run 3x faster than it does. On the Steam deck, had to run it at 1152x720 at low preset with Steam FSR on and locked at 30 FPS to make it tolerable. I have also experienced 2 hard crashes in chapter 4 (Proton GE 9_20). However, when it comes to emergent storytelling, choices and mechanics, it's great fun especially as the story unfolds more around chapter 2 when more supernatural stuff happens. The game also offers solid replayability with many options happening through the dialogues as well as your actions outside of dialogues. It's an immersive sim of a smaller scope and more limitations but I highly recommend grabbing it, especially on sale.
An action RPG set in the wild west mixed with a little bit of magic, mystery, and death. PROS ★ Just starting the game up, the art-style is the highlight of the game. It's comic-like style are really akin to Borderlands' style although Weird West has this grit to it because of the use of darker tones. The cinematics also show these + The combat and gameplay are also really fun because the game is an immersive sim; it's where you can interact with almost everything in the world. You can sit on a chair, carry a chair, and throw it lol. HIT OR MISS ? There's no hook to the story: I get that there are multiple storylines but I didn't even get to the second one to know that this game is a snoozefest. ? Hub-based open world, although I welcome hub-based open world games, some people (for some reason) do not like it if the loading screens are everywhere. Thankfully, in Weird West, the loading screens are done minimally. CONS - a LOT of LGBTQ+ elements from the story, side quests, NPCs to the main characters. These were all forced on the players, not even a hint of subtlety. - Not playable on a steam deck, sadly. Although the combat is fun, it is also advertised as a twin-stick shooter which it is NOT. You will have a hard time playing on a controller. I am retiring from Weird West because i got bored playing it. Sure the immersive-sim aspects and combat were fun but that's about it. Story and role-playing aspects didn't provide a "hook" to keep me engaged while also forcing woke agenda on the player. Get it on sale but be aware of Weird West's weird problems. Giving it a 2/5

I'd give 4 of 5 stars. It's very fun. The devs really put their heart and soul in to this game. It has very detailed environments that you can interact with on a deep level. It would make a fantastic turn based game, environmental effects, you can kick barrels over, light oil on fire, etc... Most of the time however, it's just run-n-gun. Perhaps I'm just too uncoordinated.
I refunded this: 5 minutes into the tutorial opening scene, the character went flying into the air for no apparent reason - I mean flying like a rocket, until the map shrank and disappeared. Pressing the "S" key made the character start falling again to her death. I figured that if I can't even get through the tutorial of a "definitive edition" game without dying to a bug, what nightmare would the rest of the experience be?
Wow! What a cool game! The writing is so evocative! I couldn't put it down.
Better replay Prey
I was looking for a game to play during Christmas holidays. I love old games such as Fallout/wasteland. I also enjoyed stealth game in the recent year. I tried many Crpg during this year, but their system were often complex. I enjoyed the simplicity and liberty I have in Weird West. You don't need to have a solid character "build" as there are many ways to solve problems. The loading screen information is cool too.It gives you tips/thoughts/ideas on how things can be interacted with/solved. I really like the setting also with dark horror and western. This was a new genre for me. It was quite refreshing. I recommend this game.
TL;DR Setting - great, game - bad Wot I liked - Beautiful distinct artstyle; - Very quaint looking mysterious frontier; - Nice settings: cowboys, vodoo witches and werewolves; - A bunch of side quests that make you go and visit different locations and experience the world; - The quest system provides for multiple solutions of problems; - A bunch of details and interactible object to play with; - Good NPC item ownership system - NPCs don't get too lightly to you plundering their possessions; - Physics engine: items can be throws, candles start fires, rain fills up empty barrels; - "Realistic" fire propagation; - Stealth system: enemies react to sound; - Many different ways to approach an encounter; - Places abandoned due to quest resolution or violence can be repopulated again sometimes by unexpected entities. Wot I disliked - Saying the combat is bad is saying nothing. The combat is simply broken, melee, ranged, stealth; - If you are discovered you are dead. The game has no business being real time or an action RPG; - Stealth is also a fail: kill 1 dude, wait for partol, kill patrol, wait for next patrol - you win; - All your abilities are also a fail. You have this basic slow-mo dive and it is as good / better / at least it works than 99% of all other abilities (except maybe silent kills). Since other abilities can simply fail to trigger or bug out you are left with 2 ways to deal with a combat encounter. One: stealth kill abusing AI. Two: shoot them from afar hoping your posse join in; - You can skin a bear, but not a wolf or a coyote - the number of skinnable objects is severely limited: a cryptic horror game like that should allow us wear human vests; - Your posse is mostly useless in a fight, waste your first aid kits. However if their AI turns on a couple of hirelings can easily clear out the whole map; - Line of sight can sometimes be buggy; - Weird statistics: I had to replay the final moments of one journey. Once it told me I killed 340 humans, the other 290. To sum it all up, this game’s combat simply does not function. The devs should have tried to turn it into a turn based game or a visual novel or an adventure. I simply could not bear the combat system to see the story through.
