Weapon Hacker

Mint game this is really fun.

It's a fun roguelike metroidvania, with a decent amount of variety compared to how long it took me to beat my first run. Going through the challenges after that is where it starts to get real repetitive. I think A Robot Named Fight is probably the better value, but this is a great second choice for that kind of "one more run" game with a metroidvania feel.

strategic, puzzle, and realtime movement like a 2d shooter

Roguelike Metroidvania. Instead of picking up new weapons, you just add on to your old one. Your start with a dinky pea shooter, and eventually end up with a giant flamethrower that also shoots homing lasers. Neat game with nice QOL features. Give a shot if you liked Dead Cells or A Robot Named Fight.

I bought "Weapon Hacker" with little to no expectations other than it being a Metroidvania. However, the game is a surprising lot of fun! Yes, it cannot compete with the graphics and sound of some other platformers. Yes, it has a few small errors but nothing game breaking. No, it's not a static level design and it will challenge you with somewhat randomly but smartly constructed levels. And it is mostly fair in balance of item distribution and enemy spawns. That does not make it an easy game, though. It can be many hours of fun.

This gon be gud DAMN this game needs more traction. I haven't even played much and I can already tell.

An excellent, if a little short, rogue-lite metroidvania with tons of replay value.
