About
One of you starts dead. Each game, one player becomes the ghost — able to see the demon, the dangers, and the way out, but unable to be heard by the living. Ghosts can hear the living, and each other (ghosts can hear other players, but cannot be heard by non-ghosts.)
As the ghost, you can see everything — the thing hunting the others, where it's safe, the way out before sunrise. The catch: you can't be heard by the living, you can't touch anything, and your only voice is some flickering lights and a seance board that your friends half-believe is even you.
The Ouija board is one of the only voices of the dead. The ghost moves the planchette to point, answer yes or no, or slowly spell things out — and the living will attempt to question them and read it under pressure.
A different demon every time. Its rules are hidden and change each session. Only the dead find out what they are, when they strike, and where. The ghosts can see the danger before it hits. They must communicate it with the living and help them banish the demon so they can leave the house before sunrise.
Gather the relics, one trip at a time. The ghosts search the house for what the ritual needs, then attempt to communicate it to the living, who will then be carrying each piece back while the ghost steers them around what they can't see and what will kill them. Only the ghost can see what and where the relics are, and only the ghost can see the dangers.
You're a ghost. Do ghost things. The ghosts can flicker lights, open and close doors, go through the living and they'll feel it, and as a last resort: scream, loudly -- and if you're all silent enough, you may just hear it. The seance board is not the only way to communicate, but is the only stable way to get full words across to the living.
Banish the demon by name. Winning means spelling out its true name — readable only to the dead once all the relics are collected, then the living must spell it back — so you can banish the demon and get everyone out before sunrise. For example, you and your friends will be spelling ULALULA on the board like crazy people to win the game (and pray that you read it right from the ghost player in the first place!).
Dying lets you help. Players the demon takes join the dead, adding another voice to the seance, and more help at finding the relics and warning players of the dangers.
Nine floors down. The house is bigger underneath. Banish the demon to unlock the next floor, each further from sunrise than the last, and each one holding something the floor above it didn't. Can you and your friends reach the bottom of the house and beat floor 9?
2-6 players online co-op.
You spell H-E-L-P. They read HELL and cheer. Someone gets dragged into the dark. To survive the night, the living will have to haul the right relics back to the seance board and spell out the demon's true name to banish it — and the dead are the only ones who can read that name.

The game is kinda "ok". the initial learning curve of what to do for each demon and getting a hang of the Ouija board and your teams communication style took at least my group till level 3 to fully nail down. Once you know what to expect from each demon and can communicate when to do it to the living members of the group it's not hard. I will say having 2 ghosts makes it easy for one to follow the living person and open doors and flicker lights while the other watches the board and can give clearer instructions. Overall floors 1-7 were fun. We didn't have too many issues with Turn or Anchor, frankly because I think we just got lucky. We had like a 50/50 live or die rate with them but they only came up maybe 3 times each when on floors 8 and 9. The majority difficulty once the initial learning curve is crested I'd say is the Ritual to exercise the demon. That said I'm mainly referring to it's behavior on floors 8 and 9. 1-7 it's incredibly easy to spell the true name. Floor 8 we noticed a drastic increase in the demon "fighting" you on the board. According to the dev, that's the whole point which to a degree I understand since the core gameplay is pretty easy once you know what you're doing. Floor 9 we couldn't beat on our first real attempt as the force the demon uses on the planchette was another significant jump. My only thought is that maybe the force used is scaled by number of players and depth of level and that having more players alive gives the living more control over the board. I have no idea if that's true. I do wish the dead players could do something to assist or maybe let the living player burn the incense or whatever is on the table to get the demon to relax a bit. Again at the end of the day the dev has stated that the difficulty of the planchette is the whole point so I doubt it will get changed. tl:dr game is decent, rituals past floor 7 are kinda ass.

Early Access and all that comes with it, but the bones are there of a great multiplayer ghost game. Models and textures all look like stock placeholders right now, and it's got plenty of rough edges, but the voice chat is free of the kind of issues that Dark Hours, Phasmo and others have given my group and it didn't crash once. The tutorial isn't all that clear right now, and the ghost descriptions are wonderfully atmospheric but a little cryptic. The fundamental concept is so sound - I'll definitely be coming back for more once the game has had a few updates. Where else can you send your friends a swear word from beyond the grave?
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Myself and a group of friends made it to the last floor last night and we all had a blast. None of us can wait for more content! Communication is key! If you are having a hard time stop and rethink and create a plan with your team. THE BOOK TELLS ALL! I recommend this game to anyone who likes this genre or just wanting to have a fun game night with friends that has an actual learning curve to it!
Friend bought this to play together and we went in like anybody else, blind and confused. We opted to skip the tutorial level and just dove right in to figuring the game out. Honestly? Wasn't hard to figure out. What really brings this game to life is the hilarity that ensued trying to communicate with a person I have known for literally 10+ years, through a ouija board and flickering lights. Our very first run I got jump scared so badly when the ghost killed me that I screamed loud enough the glass break alarm for my security system went off at 12:30 AM, waking my roommate AND husband up trying to figure out what was going on. I laughed so hard I was crying. That right there makes this game worth every penny spent on it and then some. Great game concept, absolutely love the fact one of us dies right from the start. Ouija board isn't actually hard to figure out as long as you use the top down view and don't forget to click to highlight the proper letter. Some of the items are labeled strangely, for example a pot in the kitchen was actually a green bag and a bag of clothes was actually a suitcase. Other than that, I'm excited to see where this game can go. Good job Dev for doing this!
This game starts you with nothing, thus you must devise your own strategy and semiotic system amidst the chaos whilst the game resists you every step of the way. If you are looking for just another mindless horror game to play with your friends, this is not it. It is intentionally imperfect and ambiguous, forcing you and your friends to fill in the gaps as malevolent entities continuously try to murder everyone in your party. Unlike other horror games which challenge you to use their system to decipher which entity is impeding you, this game adds to that experience by challenging you to create that system itself. Because of this, no two playthroughs will be the same. Different groups will come to entirely different systems of understanding and communication, thus making every playthrough a unique experience. The only real bits of criticism I have is that there is no way to manage voice volume for individual players and the trypophobia filter could be a separate texture rather than just plain text.
It's not an easy game and not for everybody, but that's part of the fun. Grab some people to enjoy dying with. Make sure everyone understands their job and what signals mean, and you'll figure it out as you go. Best of luck and don't break your keyboards
This have a very good concept and a high potential but currently, the controls are terrible, it's hard to use the board. Immediately in game we all die. Salute to those players who manage to complete the level in this current development.
