Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 4 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Buy this game, it's highly underrated - Fun gameplay - Amazing soundtrack - Good characters - Multiple endings - Unlockable accessories, characters, and difficulties, including a mode where both you and enemies die in one hit I was surprised at how good this game is cause I had never heard of it before and it doesn't seem that popular at all, but I had a great time playing it, it's just a really cool game. Play it, it's worth it.
Controls are confusing and difficult to use. Couldn't use a controller even though this game should support it. Honestly only got this game due to PS2 nostalgia but it doesn't work well on PC.

Crash after smithing, no way to resolve it. Just crash, cannot even start a new game.
This is a crash party game - you cannot even change your game. The controls are atrocious from a game that technically was for console. I understand is a 2016 game - still I played the original WoS in ps2-ps3amd was better. Terrible port with horrendous performance issues.

seriously the best samurai simulator ever made. Way of the Samurai 1 and 2 were my favorites i really hope someday to see a collection/remaster with those two together.
I'll have to try this game on my older AMD GPU but right now it works fine using Nathan's Baggs fix for the custom name bug. The game also seems stable. No crash so far compard to other players. Also, use a controller and don't forget to enable it in the settings. I had to do it each tim the game started. This game does not take itself seriously and you shouldn't too. This is the kind of game you can finish while using a stick as a weapon, bare handed or even while wielding a leek... My first playthrough was on Normal difficulty but i got beaten to a pulp in no time. This is when you learn that you carry everything from one playthtough to the other. Knowing that, I just tried out different things to see how npc's react and how the story ( ink markers on the map ) progresses. Well, the L1 and L2 buttons do have a huge impact on relations and NPC responses. This is the kind of thing i love to see in games with emergeant gameplay, Unfortunatelly, the game is quite closed up, I wish it was easy to mod because you can clearly see the devs lacked time and budget to properly implement some features like throwing stuff or the useless dodging mechanic or make side quests more unique or find a way to avoid repeating them in future playthroughs. I think any future games in the series should focus on more side activities, jobs or social encounters and provide an easy modding path. Anyway, I'm enjoying the ride so far. It has enough uniqze characters with their own backstory to keep me engaged with their fates. I hope the devs also do the right thing and put this on GOG like the 4rth used to be. It got delisted for no good reason and now my library is splited... Not cool.
