🚀 Play as Wavey the Rocket as he tries to stop the moon from being destroyed by an evil corporation that removes fizz from soda! A precision side scroller like no other, it's hand-crafted and set to some seriously funky hip hop.

A really unique and beautiful but super difficult arcade game!
https://youtu.be/Z8Cd_AlsQXw If you like unique games and/ or platformers, then there is definitely something here for you. This is a unique take on the platforming genre that will appeal to those seeking a challenge, but also a breath of fresh air. You navigate through obstacles via a wavelength scheme. You can choose how fast and how high you bounce. It has a massive learning curve. The fun audio design and funky graphics make it worth it (Received license from GMG. My opinion is my own and not biased in any way shape or form due to the free provision of the license.)
What a unique game! Quite difficult! Awesome music! The controls are so wacky and so unlike anything I've ever played before, but game is paced pretty well to ease you in. It'll be a little bit of a struggle at first but then it becomes really satisfying navigating through the levels! The first section in Level 59 though -_- If you want a challenge, you'll definitely get one with this game!
My god. Game of the Week of 05/09/15! Congratulations You win Peter Jackson's King Kong the game the movie the game fort the 360. On a nice wood/golden plaque. Great game, super original, like the music, but most importantly, ogame of the week
Excellent indie sidescroller with a unique and interesting way to control the character, which you do indirectly by manipulating the size and frequency of the wave it moves along. Watch out though, the videos make it look much easier than it is! Quite a steep learning curve but it's oh so satisfying once you start getting the hang of it. Definitely one of those games where you can get addicted to trying to beat peoples' scores on the leaderboard! Reminds me of the frustration/satisfaction I get from trying to move up in rank with games like N++ and Crimsonland. The visuals and music are very retro and funkadelic while obviously looking and sounding a lot better than any game people could've made back then. Pretty decent price for what it is and at the time of writing they've further discounted the game to celebrate its release. Definitely worth a try!
Wavey the Rocket is giving me serious flashbacks to Trials & Super Meat Boy... There's nothing like crashing into the same wall 50 times in a row to give you a real sense of achievement when you finally get past it and crash into the next one. If you like the fast reloading, side scrolling platformer then this will be right up your alley. You control Wavey on his treacherous quest to get some soda, a task many of us can relate too. Controlling the speed and pitch of the wave, you would think seeing where you are going would make the game easy but it really doesn't. It does however make it easy to get a hang of but extremely difficult to master as you try to avoid walls, floors, arms, mines and whatever else they can throw at you. In all seriousness though, this is a good fun game from an indie team that you can sink some real hours into... and considering were all stuck in our houses right now, it couldn't have come at a better time.
Love the game
This game is great, super unique and fun. Is it frustrating? Heck yes. Is it rewarding when you finally beat a level after 15 minutes of restarting? Heck yes. I tried it both with controller and with mouse +kb and found mouse and keyboard a little smoother and more intuitive for me. My movements were a little more precise overall, but that may be because I play almost exclusively games with KBM. Looking forward to many more hours of runs, hoping to be able to get sub 60 in the time allotted to earn a donation for ESA.
If you love addictive arcade side-scrollers and can overcome the steep learning curve figuring out the wacky controls then Wavey The Rocket might be the game of your dreams…or nightmares in my case. I would never penalize or criticize a game simply because I suck at it. There is no doubt Wavey is an incredible game, both in design and presentation, and it’s addictive gameplay helps fuel my “one more try” perseverance. I will conquer this game if it kills me, and you can put that on my tombstone. Full review at http://gamechronicles.com/video-games/wavey-the-rocket-review-pc/
"Wavey The Rocket has its ups and downs, it’s crests and troughs, if you will, but it is still a good game at its core. There are just a few rough edges that need to be worked on and status quos to break free of" 6/10 Full review at https://darkzero.co.uk/game-reviews/wavey-the-rocket-pc-review/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NupegYshqGM&feature=youtu.be
