bought it because I love rithm games and got an upload block to steam community because the feature this game haves to create maps from youtube violates Steam Community & Content Guidelines. (the block was short but it sucks) :)
Absolute Waste of Money. Do Not Buy. Devs have abandoned this title and so no sign of their existence. False Advertisement too with "Enjoy Our CAREFULLY HAND CRAFTED LEVELS AND MUSIC.. The game runs off of PLAYER MADE maps and YOUTUBE MUSIC LINKS. Frig off you liar POS
Beat Seaber

This could turn into something great in the future, and is just okay in the meantime. The most glaring issue is code optimization: Framerate often gets choppy and drops below 90 when things get busy, while GPU frametimes are 4.5ms and GPU utilization is 38% at 1.08 ss on an Index, so I should easily run this at 120/144. I can hold 144hz at 1.2 ss on most titles, so something must be unoptimized in the rendering api calls or rendering pipeline here, when too many new elements are being drawn at once. In terms of usability, the UI is difficult to “click” on, with the trigger needing multiple pulls all the way in, and I can’t seem to scroll down on the song list. Changes to the game options don’t seem to stick beyond the current session. All that being said, I do like some elements of this game, especially the spiraling hoops. So I hope this game continues to significantly improve as it makes its way out of early access.
I wouldn't recommend this game. In fact, I requested a refund for the game. The menu is difficult. In order to get a song to play, you put it in the preview then you have to take the cartridge and put it in the player like an 8 track cassette. Just a select and play menu would be better. There is no easy way to locate songs and all the songs seem to be created by other players, which was in the description. I figured there would be some developer songs to play but I couldn't find any. All the songs I had access to were player created maps. There are no clear instructions on what to do with the symbols flying at you except the circles that you move your hands threw which is a given. I kept failing songs cause I didn't know what to do with the symbols. Most of the songs I attempted to play, all I had was symbols, the song music and lyrics wouldn't load.
Original I wrote that the developers messed up the hands colors, making it different from Beat Saber, but recently they've fixed it completely by not only making the hands colors match the layout of Beat Saber, but by going even as far as adding an option to swap colors, which completely covers my complaints. My deepest respects to developers for listening to what their players say. Nice job!
I played the song "Headhunterz - Taking It Back", and it was perfect! The movements were in time with the music.
It doesnt work and its weird
Good alternative for Beat Saber. Just make a normal menu :)
