I loved this game, I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys escape rooms or puzzle games. The setting has a strange dark charm and though you never meet another living soul, the personalities of the tower's occupants are revealed to you through puzzles, notes, and atmospheric details that make it feel more specific and lived in than a lot of puzzle game environments I've played in. The puzzles themselves are diverse and challenging, escalating in complexity as more rooms open up and you move from exploring one or two at a time to entire interconnected floors; there's a nice flow to it and I rarely felt stuck or unsure how to proceed.

Prepare to capture plenty of screenshots and read plenty of notes! All in all it's a solid romp through a puzzle-packed tower. Some epilogue puzzles could have used some more time to cook (candles puzzle, and to a certain extent the fertilizer puzzle, I'm looking at you) but overall it was an enjoyable time and worth it when on sale.

Sense ser jo un jugador a qui agradi aquest tipus de videojocs, Waterfall Prisioner m'ha enganxat des del primer moment. Tot té un sentit i els enigmes se segueixen un darrere l'altre unint tota la trama. Des del principi al final, no pots parar, passant d'enigma en enigma per avançar per una torre que guarda molts secrets.És un excel·lent joc, difícil però sense passar-se. Utilitzant bé la informació dels textos i mirant bé la decoració de la torre, pots arribar a descobrir tot el que necessites per sortir de Waterfall.Ho aconsello a tothom, tant els fans d'aquests tipus de jocs, com a qui els agradi jugar algun cop, com també a qui no hagi jugat mai. Waterfall Prisioner té una ànima pròpia i una originalitat que fan d'ell un videojoc fresc que tan necessari és avui en dia.

Pretty good game, all things considered. I've played a lot of escape based games, and to an extent they're all the same premise, nothing life changing about this one. More difficult than I would have liked/I used a walk through more than I wish, and some of the things I really don't think I could've gotten without it. That being said, the play time is good and I'm glad I did it!

I have to be honest....I did not like this game nor did i finish it. I uninstalled it...very frustrated! Played for 19 hours and it is way too difficult to solve puzzles later in the game. If one has to refer to a guide more than 2-3 times for a particular game then that game is way too difficult. If you like hard puzzles, that will frustrate you, ......play this game. The graphics are very nice and the flow is OK...but the difficulty is too much. I also am very suspect on a number of reviewers that claim they finished the game in 6 hours or less...Seriously????
