Don’t waste your time or money. CompressorX claims to use “AI” to compress files, but after testing, it’s clear it simply runs basic Windows PowerShell compression commands — something you can do yourself for free in about five seconds. There is nothing innovative, intelligent, or automated about this software. The entire product is built on buzzwords and false promises. The UI is generic, the features are stripped down, and the “AI” label is purely marketing fluff. If you’re expecting anything beyond a glorified PowerShell wrapper, prepare to be disappointed. I requested a refund due to the misleading description and was denied because I exceeded the time limit, despite the fact that the product does not function as advertised. Steam really needs to review products like this more carefully. Until then, steer clear. Update: steam refuses to refund so be warned. Do not purchase this. CompactGUI is free and better alternative that does all CompressorX does and more and doesn’t lie about “AI”

정말 잘 쓰고 있었고, 스포트웨어 계열 산 것들 중에 가장 잘 샀다고 생각한 프로그램이었는데.. 2.0 업데이트 정말 정말 진짜 별로예요. 직관적으로 리스트가 나오던 것들 정말 보기 그다지 예쁘지도 실용성이 있지도 않고요, 예전에는 깔았던 게임들 지우면 반영도 바로 됐는데 지금은 스캔을 해도 반영도 없고 이상해요. 가벼워졌는지 어쩐지 모르겠는데 옵션에도 별 필요없는 항목만 줄줄이 늘었고요. 전으로 되돌릴 수 있는 기능이 있었다면 벌써 되돌렸을거예요. 돌려주세요

Only compresses a couple GB's (at least for me) at the most, even on the slowest setting. Had the same problem when it was CompressorX. Not very helpful when you're really low on space.

Used to work, doesn't any more. Apparently it never did anything with AI. Plus, this software changes names more often than your mom changes boyfriends.

The negative reviews don't understand that some developers are better at optimising than others. Because it is a bloated mess anything running Unreal Engine is compressed up to %70. Other games like cyberpunk which is an optimised game only saves you 2GB. This program is for the bloated games.

I ACCELERATED MY PENIS AGAIN

This software worked well when i first bought it. I tried it again on a newer PC recently, the results were abysmal. i tried to compress my entire library (like 20 games) and saved like 2gb out of 600. Buy at own risk

I have a genuine feeling that those who left a negative view have no idea how compressing works. Most games, especially AAA games, already incorporate some form of compressing tool and SNUG/CompressorX serves as a way to compress anything the game doesn't by default. With Forza Horizon 6, I saved about 7 GB of storage space after compressing it with this tool. I ran the game, raced on a few circuits, and it never complained about file integrity or corruption. Unfortunately didn't save much with games like any of the Monster Hunters and Borderlands. I also noticed PAYDAY 2 dropped significantly from 87.09 GB to 56.01 GB. I was monitoring the results through File Explorer and noticed that it does save you the storage space as expected. I'd say that for the $2.79 price tag (sale), this is a pretty neat software to use to try to get some storage back, regardless of how much.

Well it takes a while but here is the result : Total Apps Space: 1.94 TB Space Saved: 204.11 GB ,thats quite impressive but we will see if it breaks any games tho
