Free trapped water bears by rerouting, remixing, and redirecting water flows in a sunny 3D island environment. This charming VR game will have the entire family giggling as they solve puzzles and frolic with these loveable creatures.

Years on, this is still one of my favorite VR games. Would absolutely buy DLC, or a full sequel!
Great game for kids! My four year old likes doing all the puzzles even though some are a little hard for her.

Water Bears VR is a free to play VR demo game for a paid game called Water Bears VR. It worked on my system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Requires Roomscale [Standing / minimum playspace size: 2.3m x 2m / ], you might get by with 2m x 2m. Works only with HTC Vive. You might be able to finish the game in around 3 hours. This store page at time of this review, says the game costs 9.99 dollars, but i just found it and downloaded it for free on 30 Augt. 2020. You can adjust the game for kids height. Has 12 steam achievements. The puzzles are fairly easy and the game sort of explains as you go through the levels. Cute kid friendly game. Try this game, not sure if it is worth buying though.
Nim rynek gier ogarnęły ogromne sandboxy, żywiołowe shootery i inteligentne indyki, żywot prowadziło kilka gier z prostymi zasadami, ale rozbudowaną rozgrywką. Na moim pierwszym komputerze obok tetrisa, karcianek i kilku innych produkcji stawiających na przemyślane kroki gracza, znajdował się jeszcze jeden tytuł — Pipe Mania. Gra pokroju mobilnego „Where's My Water”, gdzie za pomocą zróżnicowanych, ale ograniczonych ilościowo rurek, należało doprowadzić płyn z jednego punktu do drugiego.
OPRAWA GRAFICZNA
Grafika to w WaterBears VR aspekt dość specyficzny, wszak jest mdła. Nijaka, brzydka, zimna — ogólnie tekstury to jakaś słabizna.
Played it to get used to VR, plays out vey nicely to start. Played it in a Valve Index and worked
For the recent price of free ninety free this is a must (if you have the space and cable for it). Absolutely charming little puzzler. It's short. I'm on the 4th of the 4 puzzle packs and the puzzles aren't exactly Myst difficulty but it is very well polished. It's one of the few VR games that actually utilize the full 360 room-scale tracking of PC headsets. It's an absolute shame this isn't on Quest so I could cut that cable. Graphics are simple but professional. The menus are a bit underwhelming, some pretty plain and unstyled blue rectangles hanging around but they get the job done. The only thing that honestly feels like it's hurting the overall look of this cute little piece is the blocks. They look like minecraft blocks and don't really fit the environment although you could tell they were trying to make them match. Should have just rounded the edges a bit and left the textures a bit simpler. I would love to see some DLC packs come out for this guy so I could support the devs and get some more playtime out of it. I've been hurting for a nice puzzler to play in VR and this is absolutely lovely. And while I'm wishing, a level designer and Steam Workshop support would be fab! Thanks!
While the game might be somewhat aimed at kids (IT HAS A HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT FOR SMALLER PERSONS!) the puzzles are satisfying to solve, and get challenging, The game consists of 4 "puzzle packs" and each one has its challenge packs. Each pack has increased difficulty by adding a different mechanic. The puzzles you need to connect pipes and get colored water to the color of your water bears. At first its Red Yellow and Blue, on the later levels you have to handle Green, Orange and Purple too by mixing and unmixing the colors. The challenge levels on each pack are specially tailored levels with very limited pieces that have a very limited "margin of error" to solve, this are a bit harder than the regular levels, specially the last level of each challenge set. The graphics are charming, music and sfx are all suiting the game, overall the game feels polished and well made, no frustration with mechanics or handling, no clunkyness! a real pleasure to play. Easy to recommend to anyone that enjoys puzzle games that work as they are intended.
Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert, außer man mag keine Puzzle-Spiele...
The connecting pipes concept isn't anything new, but it works very nicely in VR. The game is cutesy and intuitive enough. Probably a great VR introduction for kids. My chief complaint is that you cannot re-position after the game has started. I've had instances where the game has asked me to walk into my desk, and I simply couldn't proceed. Being able to re-position your origin, or simply removing the "walk to the portal" requirement after every level would have alleviated this.
