Неоригинально, ибо Among the Sleep, но ок. Dieses Spiel erinnert mich sehr an AMONG THE SLEEP.
Baby Blues Nightmares - Toddler Horror Game Prologue approaches first-person horror from an unusually vulnerable perspective by placing the player in control of a very young child. Instead of relying on weapons or elaborate combat systems, the experience builds tension around being tiny, defenseless, and surrounded by an environment that appears enormous from floor level. It serves as an introductory chapter to the larger Baby Blues Nightmares experience, establishing its atmosphere, central mystery, and primary mechanics. The game is developed and published by Steelkrill Studio, whose approach here emphasizes unsettling exploration, stealth, environmental interaction, and the corruption of otherwise innocent childhood imagery. The toddler perspective is much more than a visual gimmick. Furniture towers over the protagonist, ordinary corridors feel substantially larger, and common household or playroom objects can become obstacles. This unusual sense of scale makes otherwise familiar environments feel hostile without requiring every room to contain an obvious threat. Players explore disturbing surroundings while searching for five important toys and discovering clues about what has happened. The objective is simple enough to understand, allowing much of the player's attention to remain focused on navigation, environmental details, and potential danger. Stealth is one of the most important parts of the gameplay. Threats can react to noise, turning seemingly minor actions into possible mistakes. Footsteps, breathing, squeaking toys, moving objects, and other sounds can reveal the protagonist's position. This encourages slower and more deliberate exploration instead of blindly sprinting through each location. Tables, lockers, furniture, and other hiding places provide temporary protection, while the protagonist's small size makes it possible to reach spaces that would be inaccessible to an adult. The resulting gameplay captures an effective mixture of vulnerability and resourcefulness. A particularly fitting mechanic revolves around the toddler's emotional condition. Becoming frightened enough can cause crying, and crying is dangerous because nearby enemies may hear it. Food, candy, chocolate, and similar items can help maintain happiness and prevent panic from becoming another source of unwanted noise. It essentially functions as a survival resource system designed specifically around the age of the protagonist. This mechanic complements the sound-based stealth especially well because players must consider not only where they move but also the emotional state of the character they are controlling. The tricycle gives exploration another distinctive feature. It can be used for transportation and storage while also supporting customization. Players can repair it, modify its appearance, change components, and decorate it with items found during exploration. Collected toys can be carried in its cart as well. These features might initially sound strangely cheerful for a horror game, but that contrast is precisely what gives the experience much of its identity. A child's tricycle becomes an important piece of equipment inside an environment where even an innocent journey down a hallway can become threatening. Environmental interaction provides additional options when dealing with danger. Objects can be thrown to create distractions, while furniture and surrounding structures can be used to hide or break an enemy's view. Because sound can attract attention, noise becomes both a hazard and a tool. This makes encounters more interesting than simply waiting for an enemy to walk away. Puzzles and exploration objectives also prevent the game from becoming entirely focused on chase sequences. Players need to observe their surroundings, locate useful objects, and determine how different parts of the environment can help them progress. There are also several playful interactions that reinforce the protagonist's age. Crayons can be used to draw on surfaces, toys can be collected, and various child-oriented objects can be interacted with. Even saving progress is incorporated into the theme through designated places where the toddler can sleep. These details are small individually, but together they prevent the protagonist from feeling like an adult horror character merely placed inside a smaller body. The mechanics consistently attempt to make the world feel as though it is being experienced by a child. Presentation is strongest when ordinary childhood imagery is transformed into something uncomfortable. Oversized toys, blocks, furniture, dim corridors, shadows, and abandoned play spaces create an effective contrast between familiarity and menace. Physics also contribute to the atmosphere because objects can move, fall, or create noise. Knowing that an accidental disturbance could reveal the player's location makes environmental clutter more meaningful. The horror consequently emerges as much from anticipation and vulnerability as it does from direct encounters. As a prologue, the biggest limitation is naturally its scope. It introduces systems and ideas that are intended to develop further in the complete experience, so players should not expect the same amount of progression or narrative resolution as a full-length game. The relatively focused objective also means that players primarily interested in extensive mechanical depth may leave wanting more. Nevertheless, the prologue accomplishes its primary purpose by demonstrating the central gameplay loop and establishing a recognizable horror identity. Steam Deck compatibility is less straightforward. There is no official Steam Deck Verified or Playable designation that can be confidently treated as guaranteed compatibility for this prologue. Since it is designed primarily as a Windows PC experience, Steam Deck users may need to rely on Proton and potentially make manual control, graphical, or compatibility adjustments. It should therefore be regarded as having unverified Steam Deck compatibility rather than being officially supported. Players specifically purchasing it for handheld use should keep that distinction in mind. Ultimately, Baby Blues Nightmares - Toddler Horror Game Prologue succeeds because its unusual protagonist influences nearly every aspect of the experience. The combination of stealth, noise management, hiding, emotional management, environmental puzzles, collectible toys, tricycle mechanics, and interactive surroundings gives the horror more personality than a conventional escape-and-chase formula. Its short introductory nature prevents every mechanic from reaching its full potential, but the concept is sufficiently distinctive to make the prologue worthwhile for players who enjoy atmospheric and experimental horror. Rating: 8/10
looks promising. thank goodness you can disable blink.
its basically the game among the sleep maybe they should try to be more original

Everything is scarier when you’re the size of a loaf of bread. Baby Blues Nightmares - Toddler Horror Game Prologue tells the beginning of a surprisingly creepy and emotional story. A mother tells her baby a bedtime story… and shortly after, the nightmare begins. You have to escape the house while dealing with terrifying stuffed animals, arguing parents, and a world that feels way too big and threatening. The atmosphere is genuinely great. Because you’re playing as such a small and helpless child, everything feels dangerous — even normal rooms suddenly become nightmare fuel. You get chased, startled, and constantly feel vulnerable. And honestly? The fact that this kid apparently loves the ugliest stuffed animals imaginable really doesn’t help xD The prologue does a very good job setting up a story that already feels both interesting and kind of heartbreaking. It definitely made me want to see more ^^
