game is good but the dlc is a scam
A game with a great concept and tons of content, but is unfortunately an ocean wide and a puddle deep. The combat is barebones but just interesting enough to be engaging if not for the obnoxious loop of: travel the overworld at a absurdly slow pace while trying to use the stupid stealth system for avoiding combat on the overworld, fight random encounters with no variation to get to a location to progress the story that is equally as barebones as the rest of the game, then repeat. The interesting mechanics of this game aren’t enough to save it from the terrible overworld and mediocre combat.
This is a fun game when it works. A friend and I have just over 450 hours over 3 plays then all ended early due too co op saves not loading after X amount of hours. Frist two runs we got too just about 180 hours and this last one, third save, got bugged at just under 90 hours. The people and builds you can do along the way are great, fun and interesting. I feel like there are very few runs that are the same. The game is fun, hard and makes you think. I love it when it works.
Good game wrapped in DLC paywall. Shiro Games, you're not an AAA level studios lol...
87 hours in have a bug that wont load our multiplayer game at all. tried everything
I'd say a mixture of questionable business practices and a inability to fix bugs makes it difficult to recommend this game in good consciousness. My largest gripe is the memory leaks. Within two to three hours, it'll slowly climb to spending 19 gb of vram. There is no excuse for why that would be a thing three years after release as I see it. It's a shame really because this game has some very interesting concepts in my opinion.
For the King meets Heroes of Might and magic rpg. Lots of bugs but its really good. Make lots of different saves to avoid losing your game.
The number of times I accidently sold something at the vendor instead of putting it on is rediculous. If you have played this game you have done it. Why punish players like this. Give us an undo sale. Something. I cant play this game anymore. I am too infuriated.
Polityka wydawania DLC to koszmar, kupioną podstawkę traktuj jako wersje Demo
As a turn based lover of such games as XCOM 1&2, Jagged Alliance, Battle Brothers etc. this game is terrible. It feels like a mobile game from 15 years ago. The interface is clunky and unintuitive, the game-play options feel very limited and implausible. I have to wait to discover that people can actually be fishermen before I can start a profession as a fisherman, like all of them have never been outside before. My new characters can't even wear light armour for some strange reason and my "man-at arms" starts with a barrel-lid shield and an old club...lol wut? Anyway whatever, the combat feels very badly paced and awkward - actually that's how the entire game feels. I bought this game on ridiculously cheap sale for nearly £7 so I was very excited with all the very positive reviews, but having tried hard to get into it for a few hours I'm giving up, its too janky for me and I feel I overpaid by about £3.50.
