Feels like a good old fashioned 3D characters on 2D background from 2001-ish, with more modern puzzle and design sensibilities. Good voice acting and great soundtrack.I also appreciate that it gives you a lot of different options for story branches.
A wonderful detective adventure set in outer space. Choices matter, the world and characters feel alive.
This is one of those games I want a sideways thumb on. If "solid sci-fi point and click adventure" doesn't sell you on it, then I won't either. It's good enough that I'll definitely look into what else this developer does and has done. They have talent and ability. But it's not good enough to recommend unless you're looking for exactly this sort of thing.
It is a very nice little quest. Certainly it is worth a time and money. Certainly I had fun playing it and even tried to replay it to get another ending. It was rather fulfilling and fun. The game has an interesting and imaginative but rather short story, more than one ending, some unusual and inventive puzzle mechanics and a good voice acting. There are some cons. Most puzzle solving mechanics are not properly introduced to a player and are a bit uncommon so don't hesitate to employ hints. Interface is a bit awkward and some repeatable actions could've been skipped (like landing and automatically lowering cargo ramp for example). But all those cons are minor. Edit: On a second run I discovered that different choices you make present different approaches to solve puzzles and affect the ending. So there's more to the game rather than one playthrough.
Amazing point and click adventure game with a fantastic story and compelling puzzles. If you like the old Sierra or Lucasarts games I would recommend picking up a copy. It's also great to see an authentic Australian cast (something that is sorely lacking in video games these days). At this price point its an must buy, highly recommend!!
Nice adventure game with some interesting features and an art style that fits the atmosphere of the story very well. I especially loved the mouse-over feature for seeing if items combine or can be used with something and wish more adventure game had it. Choices matter in this game and to see all endings (and get all achievements) multiple playthroughs are needed. Going through the story once took me about 6 hours, though only using the in game hint system, which starts with giving you very vague clues that get more detailed if you remain stuck. The game is not without its flaws but they are minor and overall I recommend the game to all adventure game fans.
