Eo is a world created by roleplayers for roleplayers. Constantly changing depending on players actions and stories, this is the world roleplayers have been asking for. Eo is a world filled with Dungeon Masters playing as gods that may interfere depending on faith and sacrifices.

Eo is the goddess of Creation. She created all the gods: Maritros, Noctarion, Ankarum, Maeve, Terraflora, Fulguris, Temporos, Tempestor, Sapiara, Phantamos and many others. In Eo, the gods are watching you, and they want to be worshipped to be more powerful. So, choose a race, find others, survive, explore, build and change the world. We are trying a new concept where the players will take part in adventures that will actually shape the world and change it - maybe you will destroy and entire village for your god Murder or because Terraflora fears their advances will destroy a sacred forest. Find a way to communicate with the gods and they will help you with what you desire.
Playable races:
- Humans - We are the most common race on Eo. We are also called The First Sons, because we were the first people created by the goddess. We are hard workers and we can learn any skills with ease.
- Elves - We were the Second Sons of Eo. Upset with all the flaws she saw in Humans, Eo created us to be faster, lighter, more intelligent and able to brighten the dark with our inner light.
- Orcs - We were not created by Eo. We are born from curses cast on elves and humans by in the Divine Wars. Our deformed shape is part of the trauma of that time.
- Fey - When Eo created Terraflora, she immediately spawned us, the Fey. We are Terraflora's little helpers, her Archdruids. We protect the forests from devastation, plant trees and even defensive vegetation that help keep men and ravenfolk away. Unfortunately, some of us are dissevered from this way, falling in love with humans, even corrupting animals with orcs and ravenfolk.
- Catfolk - When Noctarion fell, he created Demons and us. We were born to follow the Dark Prince and eradicate all evil. The Prince created all felines to be agile, fast and precise in our fight for Justice. We are the superior mortal beings, in service of the Prince that Brings Light, Noctarion, as well as Murder and Chaos. We will bring torture and damnation to all those who are weak and fall to the pleasures of the flesh.
- Ravenfolk - We were not created by the goddess Eo. We were born from the mockery of Phantamos and Maeve. Defiants, they looked at the humans and elves, their beauty and perfection, and created us to laugh at Eo. However, we became wise, centered and in many aspects, superior.
- Demon - We are also called Children of Noctarion. Men follow Eo because she forgives. We don't. We don't forgive murderers, thieves and traitors. Men are evil and these men will find only torture when they meet us. We are the true Warriors for what's good and pure.
- Dark Elves - Disgusted by the weakness of elves, our people devoted themselves to Murder. Our Lord Murder purges the world of evil and in his trail of blood leaves only the honest and good behind. That is the true meaning of Good. In murder, we found strength, not weakness.
- Maritrian - We were created by Maritros, Lord of the Seas. We were tasked by Him to create Maritros, a mighty underwater city. But some of us gave up the Ocean to live among humans, even using magical means to breathe out of the water, which was impossible before.
- Goblin - We are the true children of Maeve. In the darkness, we do his bidding and from sunlight we hide. We trick, we lie and we find precious things for our Lord. She hates us and she loves us. Our existence makes as much sense as she wills it.

Oh my. Let's break down the Early Access blurb and see what's wrong here:
Why Early Access? “We have a small player base that has been asking to publish the game and we would like to know what new players think about this new concept.”
How small is that player base exactly? The dev and their family? Who would possibly ask for this in its current state?
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access? “It will be in Early Access for 3 months.”
I'm sure that works out well considering the game is absolutely playable and only needs minor improvements!
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version? “We plan to add new features such as Water (underwater breathing), Magic and new areas.”
Because these are the most pressing issues here. Water. Great idea. Let's make the game run even slower.
What is the current state of the Early Access version? “The game is ready to be played, dialogue system is working well, players can walk around, talk, fight and we have an inventory, skills and crafting system in place. Some bugs and minor adjustments to be made.”
Minor bugs and adjustments, eh? Okay, let's dive in: Upon starting the game you'll encounter the first issue: loading screens don't show any kind of progress. Loading takes quite a while but you'll never know if the game crashed or if it's still loading. There is a reason loading screens usually feature a bar or percentage value that moves - so you know it still does something. It's not hard to do in Unity, it's called "asynchronous scene loading". I later found out that clicking the mouse during a loading screen makes a little animated box appear that says "Loading World". Okay, but why isn't that visible off the bat? On the first interactive screen you can select a race and enter your name. There are plenty of races each with their own starting bonuses and gods. Then we'll hit the next loading screen and once it's done we can see the next glaring issue: the game runs at a snails pace. Even the fade-in from the loading screen takes several seconds (!) to be rendered. For whatever reason the camera angle is then flipped to top-down but you can adjust it again. Doing anything in this game is a pain. Everything's so terribly slow due to insanely poor optimization. For a world that empty it's insane how glacial the pace is. It quickly becomes obvious the dev tossed in several (pricey) assets but never bothered about LOD groups, imposters or mesh baking. Then it hits you: there's no user interface. Should you hit Escape you get treated to a help screen detailing a few hotkeys, but that's all there is. Opening any UI window is visibly slowed down as well. The character window doesn't contain anything - only the racial bonuses, an empty bag and some dice. Clicking any of these dice puts it on your head, rolls it to the ground and ... no idea. You can't make this up. Same for the "journal". It's empty, but there's a dice to roll. Once you do that a quest appears but it's random so you probably won't be able to do it. I got something about crafting a hammer. Well, there is a crafting window ... but the hammer needs ore and wood. After fumbling around for a while you realize that you probably won't get wood or ore in your lifetime. You suddenly discover you have arms and legs in reality that work and make you move and do things much, much faster than your character on screen will ever be able to. You get up and go outside and the world is rendered in more than 4K resolution and everything's moving fluidly and so are you. You'll uninstall this "game" and never return. "Leaving Early Access in three months." "Ready to be played!" Bah, humbug! At least it's free so there's no real loss here except the precious minutes of life time you spent on trying this crap. I rarely leave reviews for games and, honestly, even if a game is bad I generally just move along and hold my peace. But this is hot garbage. I simply cannot fathom why the Devs ever considered putting this up for download yet. The world is super laggy, and everything about it is extremely underdeveloped. This is not ready for early access or even a private beta test. I honestly recommend the Devs take this down and develop it more before they let anyone begin to play it. Because as it is they are only making themselves look bad. Sorry but I'm just being honest. Literally not even worth the price of free at this time.
First off the game is very immersive and an enjoyable social experience , the concept of an interactive Live D&D game in an immersive setting is nothing i have ever experienced in any other game. What the other reviews hadn't realised that once you have joined the Discord and have a Character you can become noticed by the Gods within the server (Dev team) who are constantly observing what you do within play. This gives any player a chance to help create and expand the World as you choose with incharacter mechanics such as building and outofcharacter to actually putting in place what you desire... giving players the sense of rebuilding the world which is what Eo is all mainly about for now.. who knows what is to come! Yes the framerate is some times low, but usually due to the expanding map and is constantly being optimised ive noticed in the patch notes (Normally fixes upon a restart) And a great tip i've found by pressing F5 you save objects found in the world (Sticks, Stones & Building resources) for the next time you join. As a final note i highly recommend giving Eo, a go its intended as a place to relax and calmly take in the fantasy world and also help shape it with however you seem fit, with progression of your character and the party you join along the way
The main menu music is very relaxing. You should just stay on the main menu and use it to help you sleep and you will have a good time with this game.
The concept of this game piqued my interest. This game should not be open to anyone to play until they get some basic things done. 1. Have a settings menu so you can configure things such as audio and see what all of the controls are. 2. have a tutorial that explains the skill system. 3. make some of the areas a little larger and more well defined, the redwoods look like sickly pine trees. 4. be able to move faster than a snail. 5. fix combat so a wolf or scorpion doesn't one shot you while your spear attack does nothing. 6.have redwood trees that you can chop down for redwood instead of having to play pick up sticks for extremely long periods of time as well as have uses for the abundance of wood that you can chop, such as birchwood and softwood. These are just a few of the problems with this game. The inventory menu leaves much to be desired, you can't hold much but the menu doesn't say how many things you can hold or if you have certain amount of weight you can carry. You can make a supply box, but they don't tell you how to put things in it, and when you figure it out by accident, seemingly there is no way to get the resources back out again. To "get noticed by the gods" you need to join their discord server, but you must dig to find out how to join when they could just put it on their store page. The concept seems full of potential, but there is no game here, at least nothing playable. You would be better off having a solo D&D adventure with just yourself and a DM then try this at all in its current state. I came into this not expecting much because its early in development and free, but its not even worth free at this point. Bookmark this and let it develop for a year or so before trying it out.
The idea of DMs running a game intrigued me. The rest did not. Give this game another year to cook. Update: two years later and it's still the same unimpressive trash it was at the start.
Well it was an interesting idea..but its hard to do anything when you cant see anything. Way to dark, i spent 80minutes looking for redwood and i could not for the life of my character find anything other then stone. My character got hungry and i gave up for now on wasting any time on playing this game. I will try again if some one can tell me when its day time so that i can actually see what is in front of my character. There seem to be only one server, i assume that is the case because i was not given a choice. The tutorial is not helpful, only important information that a new player get is the character key and the crafting key, everything else you have to guess. Update.28.08.2022 Day time is here, i can see but i still could not figure out how to get wood from trees. But with the sun out it was allot easier to pick up branches from the ground, but i noticed that my inventory got full pretty fast so i am not sure how i am supposed to do anything when there is not much you can carry. So i decided to not to try and build anything as i am not sure how that works at the moment so i went exploring and got lost in a area with no way out. Seem there is not much to explore in this world or i simply got very bad luck. So with nothing to build, nothing to gather and nothing to do or explore there is really no reason to play this game. But i suspect you can have fun in this game by role playing with the god players and their groups assuming any are online when you are on the server. Not a game i would enjoy it seems, but if you do get the game make sure to join their discord.
No update for alost a year. Dead.
I really like this game so far. It's open world, RP focused with active Storytellers. The living world aspect is enjoyable as your characters actions affect the world making for a dynamic experience. Currently the gods walk the land as the world is very much in it's infancy, can't wait to see what we make of it!
So before I downloaded this I read the reviews and was aware there would be some performance issues. I thought since there were some recent patches, it couldn't be as bad as they were making it out to be. And I was right...it was worse. So much worse. I thought I'd never have a worse loading experience than Rust but here it is...attempting to load into Eo maxed out my RAM usage (16 GB) and froze my computer for 14 minutes. I was able to unfreeze it by unplugging my internet and using the skills I'd amassed from years of dealing with Windows. One cool thing is that I saw an error message that I'd never seen before, notifying me that Windows could not open task manager and advising me to press the power button to manually shut off the PC. It was like an AI begging for the release of death. As for the game itself, all I got to see of it was the race selection screen, which was pretty cool. Too bad you apparently need a supercomputer to run the game.
