被你们恶心的同进退词条恶心了很久了,你们这群臭傻逼究竟玩没玩过自己的游戏的?你们制作组家里死人了?直到现在也不修。你们真是一群用屁眼当眼睛的傻逼东西
Do you enjoy being animation locked every 5 secs? The game is fine but the combat is so bad you'll stop playing after a few hours, to block or parry it locks you in an animation. Compared to Darktide, Vermintide or even Gears of War the melee combat in this game is truly bad and the number 1 reason why people don't play. All other games have freedom of movement , it's not fun to be locked , truly disappointing. Can't even jump. No bullet decals ,some objects don't even register phsical hits.
Devs -don't fix weekly challenge modifiers for months on end -never fix the issue with having to load the lobby twice and the host leaves post-game, causing loading for years, -have game-breaking bugs that prevent mission progression -never fix the horrible netcode -Have braindead matchmaking that is worse than technology from the 20th century that matches you with 200 ping when there are plenty of people right next to you yet seem to be happy pushing cosmetics and season passes all the time.
I understand I have just over 1,000 hours in this game. I will continue to put hours into it, because this is the modern Space Marine faction game we got whether I like it or not. However, I must make known my issue I take with this game: it just never functions as it should. *Ever*. If Contested Health doesn't break and inexplicably stop working at random points during a mission, my perks take their place. If that works, then an enemy spawn effect kills me from 10 meters away. If that doesn't happen, my medicae stim fails to heal me. If that works, my parries are ignored completely. And if that works, my dodges manage to simultaneously succeed *and* fail, as I get the sound and visual cue for a perfect dodge, and yet get staggered and hurt regardless(these are not including specific modifiers that do some of these things, obviously; I have experienced all of the above separately in regular missions on the hardest difficulty, where I am otherwise comfortable). I genuinely hope the third game they are working on redeems them. I want them to prove they can make something that works as it should, at the very least. But if they can't, I hope it is an utter embarrassment for them in all senses of the term, as I fully believe they should not be at this wheel they have found themselves behind. P.S. Whatever happens, do not allow these developers to forget that they broke one of the main weapon defense types - turning off its AOE damage and stagger, half of the allure of this defense type, *by accident* somehow - and didn't fix it until two patches later, all while the community made a patch for it in less than a month after it was found(the issue was literally a toggle in the game's files).
Massively overrated with some of the most inconsistent, contradictory, frustrating game design I've ever experienced. The audio-visual design is trash and makes combat an absolutely unreadable cluster, with multiple systems competing for your attention (dodge and parry cues sharing the same audio indicator is a particularly egregious sin); the gameplay tries to chase that "deliberate and measured" trend from "soulslike" games combined with character-action horde combat, which just results in a clunky game where you're easily overwhelmed; game mechanics are littered with exceptions and inconsistencies, particularly with enemy attacks and the parry system; the control schemes available are all generally awkward and awful no matter which of the limited options you pick (none of them do a good job combining both melee and gun combat while allowing easy use of abilities, there's always a trade-off); the general UI is convoluted, makes party management awkward and needlessly hides various screens; pointless loading screens that shouldn't exist (I shouldn't have to reload the hangar when leaving a party!); an upgrade system that is often confusing and somewhat of a slog; the list goes on and on and on..... I tried to like it, I really did, but in the end the experience keeps pissing me off. Makes Darktide look competent by comparison, which is saying a lot.
Low quality repetitve trash. Overrated and paid reviewers. Sad!
Alot of weirdo gameplay choices, instead of fighting some cool enemies the game has us: - Fight a giant swarm of rats that come together to attack - Jump pack around cliffs wasting time - if your stuck in a interact cutscene you can still take damage - all the spots you fight in feel the same and there is not enough unique enemies - the game randomly changes your loadout throughout mini cutscenes on a mission

The developers have known about this bug for over a month, yet it still hasn't been fixed or meaningfully addressed in any patch. Even worse, despite knowing the modifier was broken, they included it in a high-reward weekly mission that they manually curate themselves. There has been no official acknowledgement, no temporary workaround, and no explanation to the community. From a player's perspective, this doesn't look like a simple mistake anymore. It looks like the developers are ignoring their own players and treating serious gameplay issues as a low priority. allways quality assurance, bug fixing, and communication are simply unacceptable for a live-service game.
I played this right after finishing the first game for the first time and the sequel is a massive improvement on the original. The foundation of both games are the same. Even the story is pretty similar. The controls, guns, linear action and all that are the same. Space Marine 2, however, ups the brutality and gore and makes executions FUN to do! The enemies imo are better than the first game. Not only are they more interesting, they look better and feel funner to shoot. Only downside in this game is that it's pretty short. I wanna say the campaign is around 7ish hours long. Maybe less. I did try operations (multiplayer story that takes place during the events of the main campaign) with a couple friends afterward but honestly, the operations aren't as fun as the base game. I'm not sure exactly why, just that it didn't feel as good to play. So I HIGHLY recommend for the singleplayer campaign!
