Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

Fun straight to da point 3rd person shooter. Gives the classic Gears of War feel with gore and combat - story is cool enough. Deserved thumbs up!

I just don't find it fun to play. I think it's more that I don't care for the enemies that I am fighting. Maybe if they were Orcs I'd find it more engaging. Refunded

What a breath of fresh air in the modern gaming landscape. No babling lesbians, no effeminite men, only brotherhood, honor and battle. This is truly what a game made with love for the audience looks like. Only downside, as you can see, is the total playtime necessary for completing the game, which is very short. I have yet to try the other gamemodes, but I suspect there is a bit more to chew on. The gameplay is so simple I might not find myself coming back so soon. The scenario is what carries the experience in my opinion.

FOR THE ETERNAL EMPEROR!

A seriously great game. The graphics are beautiful. The setting is epic. The gameplay is fun as hell. Saber has made something awesome here and they keep on adding content and improvements. The campaign is a 10/10, and then you can grind Operations. At first I thought this would get old quick, but I've been surprised how much longevity this game has pulled out. It's just consistently fun leveling up new weapons and prestige-ing classes. The recent updates to siege mode are also great, giving you a really great sense of scaling power while also keeping the enemies interesting. The last PvE mode is Stratagems, which are hit or miss in my opinion. Sometimes the modifiers make the game more fun, sometimes they make the game brutally difficult (i.e. less fun). My only real complaint is with the PvP. It is definitely not the main priority of the developers, and much less played by the community than the PvE modes. The balancing is... okay, but sometimes I find myself just getting absolutely wrecked in PvP by some certain weapon. I don't know what needs to be done to make PvP more enjoyable, maybe it's just a personal preference. Overall this game is a 10/10. If you enjoy smooth flowing combat, well executed gore, a deep lore, and a great community then pick up this game. It's worth the money even at full price.
