About

Begin your adventure aboard your personal, giant voidship, traveling between the multitude of systems within the Koronus Expanse, a barely charted and incredibly perilous region of space. Despite being considered a backwater of the Imperium, this region encompasses an enormous stretch of the void, filled with dangerous creatures and prodigious opportunities for profit and exploration.

Rogue Traders never travel alone. Gather your retinue of righteous heroes, twisted psykers, and perfidious xenos. All of them are ready to follow you into the darkness between the stars. They will offer you counsel, aid you in battle, and allow you to amass ever more power. In return, you can guide them through their own personal journeys, changing their destinies forever.

During quests show your subjects mercy or disdain, stay faithful to the God-Emperor, or consort with enemies of Mankind - your every decision and every act, even in character creation, is changing the in-game open world and those who inhabit it.

Slaughter the enemies of Mankind in a fully-fledged isometric turn-based tactical combat. Take advantage of cover, the environment, and careful positioning to overpower your enemies. When that is not enough - use your companion`s powerful abilities to turn the tide of battle and achieve victory even in the direst of situations. Our video game adaption of the classic Rogue Trader ruleset allows an enormous number of possibilities for you to explore.

Although this game is no Baldur's Gate 3 (they really outdid themselves); Rogue Trader is still a top tier RPG where you play as the Rogue Trader who must stop heretics, mutants and xenos while traveling the stars. In terms of gameplay it's fairly enjoyable if not somewhat repetitive but what RPG isn't? The game starts you out with fairly limited options but after the first act you'll then proceed to space combat and eventually colony management. Pros: Lots of great options in terms of play style. Choices matter and affect downstream events Interesting and enjoyable follower characters Space combat and ship customization is cool Engaging story with tons of lore Cons: Space combat is somewhat limited. You can't control your escort fleet Some builds kind of are hurt by low int/persuasion/coersion/etc... when passing difficulty checks Augments feel kind of weak, and the jump ability felt terrible since you can't jump up/down levels with it Some misc bugs. Like incorrect percentages shown or missing enemies who are higher or lower on the battle map Very easy to min/max the game. I typically use RT/Abelard/Argenta/Yrielet/Cassia/(Kiballah/Pascal)
Abelard, write me a glowing review.
战斗多,跑图少,支线有指示,正反馈强,好玩
PÉPITE
Un super jeu avec une merveilleuse histoire ! Cependant, certains combats peuvent être un peu agaçant et répétitif (les rebelles sur la dernière planète du tuto)
besides youtube lore videos, this is my introduction into warhammer 40K. its a wonder CRPG and is allowing me to really dig into and explore the lore of this setting. highly recommend
must have for 40k fans
Huge, immersive, full of choices, memorable characters, and stories both big and small. Character customization and min-maxxing is complex, but extremely fulfilling once your choices start clicking and you become an unstoppable force on the battlefield. Easily the best WH40K game I've played, across all genres. Must have for fans of RPGs with tactical turn-based combat, and with adjustable difficulty, probably equally enjoyable if you're just in for the universe and the story.
