Made in a close partnership with Games Workshop, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is a story-rich classical RPG from Owlcat Games, developers of the critically acclaimed game, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 27.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 31.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Begin your adventure aboard your personal, giant voidship, traveling between the multitude of systems within the Koronus Expanse, a barely charted and incredibly perilous region of space. Despite being considered a backwater of the Imperium, this region encompasses an enormous stretch of the void, filled with dangerous creatures and prodigious opportunities for profit and exploration.

Rogue Traders never travel alone. Gather your retinue of righteous heroes, twisted psykers, and perfidious xenos. All of them are ready to follow you into the darkness between the stars. They will offer you counsel, aid you in battle, and allow you to amass ever more power. In return, you can guide them through their own personal journeys, changing their destinies forever.

During quests show your subjects mercy or disdain, stay faithful to the God-Emperor, or consort with enemies of Mankind - your every decision and every act, even in character creation, is changing the in-game open world and those who inhabit it.

Slaughter the enemies of Mankind in a fully-fledged isometric turn-based tactical combat. Take advantage of cover, the environment, and careful positioning to overpower your enemies. When that is not enough - use your companion`s powerful abilities to turn the tide of battle and achieve victory even in the direst of situations. Our video game adaption of the classic Rogue Trader ruleset allows an enormous number of possibilities for you to explore.

Reviews
Worth every penny I would tell you. The story is gigantic rich with 40K lore. The combat is decent but skills are overwhelming. You need to spend some time to learn them. I am really enjoy the game for 100 hours and hope to have more. Navy combat is Ok. Colony management is interesting by focusing on increasing resource to gain powerful item.
Feels very clunky, did not enjoy it, did not feel intuitive at all. As an enjoyer of turn based combat I would not recommend this one unfortunately

I expected better. I've enjoyed other RPGs from Owlcat very much. Rogue Trader was overwrought, didn't do a good enough job as introducing its mechanics, and many of the puzzles were poorly written so as to break your roleplay to continue, or required a thing you no longer had access to (I'm looking at you Melta-Charges). I reached an blockade I couldn't get around, and locked me out of the rest of the game. So I uninstalled.
not enough words I have can describe this game. its amazing. I was never a huge fan of Balders gate 3 and when i played Balders gate 3 it turned out to be a bit too much for me. Rogue trader is much more my pace. this game is amazing it captures and encapsulates the Warhammer 40k fantasy of being a rogue trader perfectly, characters are interesting and well written, dialogue is full of humor wit and maturity combat and the design of the ship is everything a 40k fan and player could ever ask for. tons of secrets to finds, dialogue options to explore and quite a few different endings and routes depending on how dogmatic, Heretical, or Iconolasts you are. I love this game and while its not perfect as in you will find a good deal of bugs glitches and occasionally really annoying game breaking ones. it is well worth the money and well worth picking up the dlcs to unlock the other characters/ classes and playing through making your build and trying it once again. my first playthrough I've done is as a heretic.. I'm about 79.6 hours in including some of the dlc content and honestly I wish i had gone down the more pure path.. there's multiple romance options and all of them are pretty solid (Cassiopia is best girl) (but Kibellah and Yrielt aren't far behind.) All and all great job Owlcat games you've done more than anyone could ask for when it comes to tackling making a rpg set in the 40k universe and having the fantasy of being a rogue trader.
I can't speak on how accurate this game is to the ttrpg rules it's based on as my knowledge of them is based more around D&D and Pathfinder, but what I can say is this; if you enjoyed Kingmaker, Wrath of the Righteous, or similar games, then I believe you'll enjoy this. I certainly have so far and I doubt that'll change. If it does, well, I'll write about it when it happens.
I do not beg for the Emperor’s favour—I wield the authority He has bestowed. Every world that defies my banner shall remember my name in fire. Every traitor shall become another corpse drifting through the void. Every victory shall be another hymn to Holy Terra. My legacy is eternality, from the will of the emperor!Right here, right now, loyal pilgrims! He summons you to render the tithe of your courage, your hatred, and your unwavering devotion. Rally beneath the banner of 豆子, for through my hand His will shall be wrought upon the stars. By my decree, His enemies shall perish. By His will, Humanity shall reign forever.
Great story, high replayability and overall a wonderful timesink to entertain yourself with. Must have if you like rpg's, wh40 or strategy games.
