About

Begin your adventure aboard your personal, giant voidship, traveling between the multitude of systems within the Koronus Expanse, a barely charted and incredibly perilous region of space. Despite being considered a backwater of the Imperium, this region encompasses an enormous stretch of the void, filled with dangerous creatures and prodigious opportunities for profit and exploration.

Rogue Traders never travel alone. Gather your retinue of righteous heroes, twisted psykers, and perfidious xenos. All of them are ready to follow you into the darkness between the stars. They will offer you counsel, aid you in battle, and allow you to amass ever more power. In return, you can guide them through their own personal journeys, changing their destinies forever.

During quests show your subjects mercy or disdain, stay faithful to the God-Emperor, or consort with enemies of Mankind - your every decision and every act, even in character creation, is changing the in-game open world and those who inhabit it.

Slaughter the enemies of Mankind in a fully-fledged isometric turn-based tactical combat. Take advantage of cover, the environment, and careful positioning to overpower your enemies. When that is not enough - use your companion`s powerful abilities to turn the tide of battle and achieve victory even in the direst of situations. Our video game adaption of the classic Rogue Trader ruleset allows an enormous number of possibilities for you to explore.

Great story and great game. Replayability is awesome.
awesome game
Want to make Heads Explode with Psychic Powers? Love Guns that shoot RPG bullets that gib any fool who pokes their heads out? Think Swords with Chainsaws in them are cool, and want to build a character that never runs out of action points so you never stop Sawing? Then this game is for you! If you're looking for a CRPG with a bit less boundless exploration, with tons of cool abilities and no resting, this is the one. Its slick, with a ton of branching paths in the story and an awesome setting. Simpler than Baldurs in its world design and much simpler than Owlcat's Pathfinder series, this is a straightforward and approachable CRPG. Huge plus if you like Warhammer 40k already, but it will explain everything you need to know to Newcomers to the universe through highlightable key words. No searching for esoteric terms and lore, its cleanly presented in the moment so you can learn as you play.
Definitely worth getting
I really wanted this to be my entry point into the Warhammer 40k universe. The story is probably fine, but If you don't have a specific drive towards the universe the game feels clunky. The loading screens are frequent to transition from one tiny environment to another. Little items are hidden amongst clutter but show up on your map. Unit movement is frustrating where characters in your party are deselected after every encounter. Voice acting is very intermittent. The timing in cutscenes feels off; there are a lot of pauses between dialogue boxes popping up and sometimes a dialogue will quickly pop up for the scene to fade to black. These moments all create friction when trying to immerse myself enough in the universe to enjoy the narrative attempting to unfold.
I bought this game again on steam after buying it on Epic games store since the steam launch was delayed by a couple minutes.
