About

Begin your adventure aboard your personal, giant voidship, traveling between the multitude of systems within the Koronus Expanse, a barely charted and incredibly perilous region of space. Despite being considered a backwater of the Imperium, this region encompasses an enormous stretch of the void, filled with dangerous creatures and prodigious opportunities for profit and exploration.

Rogue Traders never travel alone. Gather your retinue of righteous heroes, twisted psykers, and perfidious xenos. All of them are ready to follow you into the darkness between the stars. They will offer you counsel, aid you in battle, and allow you to amass ever more power. In return, you can guide them through their own personal journeys, changing their destinies forever.

During quests show your subjects mercy or disdain, stay faithful to the God-Emperor, or consort with enemies of Mankind - your every decision and every act, even in character creation, is changing the in-game open world and those who inhabit it.

Slaughter the enemies of Mankind in a fully-fledged isometric turn-based tactical combat. Take advantage of cover, the environment, and careful positioning to overpower your enemies. When that is not enough - use your companion`s powerful abilities to turn the tide of battle and achieve victory even in the direst of situations. Our video game adaption of the classic Rogue Trader ruleset allows an enormous number of possibilities for you to explore.

Reviews
As complicated or simple as you want it to be. Owlcat's games always feel like they want you to be the co-gamemaster of your campaign. There's so many difficulty options, character customization options, and with mods you can basically create completely broken custom classes. It's a sandbox with stakes you set.
I bought this because I believed in Owlcat, let's get that out of the gate. I find 40k convoluted, overly fantastical for a sci-fi, but unique and complex enough to follow the natural cycle of "what might be". Their entries into the cost of FTL travel, for instance, is highly unique. There's a lot of cost to all of their elements, from cybernetics to "powers". In the 90 hours I've played the only "Trading" I've really done is in dealing death, and selling loot to random vendors. I feel like this is a confusing title if you're expecting a game about being a Trader. Rogue Traders are like weird Lords of a sector of the galaxy. Like imagine England in the 1880s, if you were a lord of whatever-the-hell-shire, and you were given power and influence over the randos of that area. A couple villages, and their yields. That's the closest comparison that makes any sense... but your manor is that ship, and that "castle" is like a thousands year old cathedral filled with hundreds of thousands of people. I dunno, it's fricken weird. I found the characters much like if Owlcat was given free reign to make some fan favourite classes into characters. They're all very unique and full of charm. Sometimes they're a little 2-dimentional, but over all they have a lot of things they hope to achieve in the game. The combat is where the game really shines. I very much liked that they did away with the old RTS with a turn-based, square system. Sure, some battles take 20-40 minutes, but they did in BG3 as well and I didn't whine there either. All in all, I would recommend this game if you love 40k, or if you find it interesting. Or even if, like me, you love Owlcat games and trust them to make gold out of a lumpy old turd... I can't believe Owlcat made me like a 40k game...

Не думаю что есть что-то лучше в жанре. Разобраться придется, но оно того стоит. Прошел несколько раз, надеюсь пройду еще.
easy 8/10. Great story, interesting characters but a wildly complicated and needless leveling system. Can be a bit of slog if you like your rpg's fast and with less reading - take a break and come back to it when you can.
Got game on launch and a lot has been improved since then. i do enjoy the game and story, visuals are great starting my second playthrough with DLCs now. if you like warhammer this is a great game with a lot of lore and reading. only critism's would be i still dont understand the levelling system theres a LOT with a lot of info behind i mostly just followed recommened and left it at that, combat wise i had it on easy cos its a long game and spending time adding up all debuffs for all encounters is not my jam i just wanted to shoot bolts and move on. second would be a me thing but i felt that the background music was lacking? or too quiet? most of the time all i heard was my mouse/keyboard clicking, could just be a me thing. only other thing to point out which i havent tested since launch was co-op, was terrible on launch, when i was on the ship my parter was just staring at a blank screen untill we left the ship, was a bad implement. may have been fixed.
Это тупо топ. Любителям вахи игра обязательна к ознакомлению, остальным соболезную)
