Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 8 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Pretty good turn-based tactics game. You don't need to know anything about WH40k or the Mechanicus to enjoy it, and if you do you'll appreciate the attention to detail. The aesthetics are great and the sound design and OST are a big highlight. It's on the easier side for this genre which make it a good entry point for people new to XCOM like games, but for veteran players I recommend to start on hard and maybe with Ironman enabled.

I must have picked this up in some bundle deal a while back. I am a few hours deep and this is basically Darkest Dungeon for many of its mechanics but set in Warhammer universe. Not a fan of the scaling and so moving on. Probably worth a pickup in deep sales if you like 40k as feels well put together but I am not invested in the world to push through the difficulty scaling. So mixed with err on side of recomend if cheap
Simple, but very fun "XCOM" game in the WH universe. Lore was excellent. Would recommend.
Gameplay is slow. Collecting points to perform actions isn’t fun. The gameplay is barebones — you click through rooms, get three action choices, then move to the next room, 3 choices again and on the marked room you get a slow battle. The story is just clicking through screens while the Mechanicus won’t stop talking, and it’s all text. The battles are so slow, and you can’t speed them up. It never feels like a real battle. Al the missions are the same. Explore the dungeon = battle at the end. rescue= battle(never see the units you rescue). Jam the signal = battle. The summoning mechanic is pretty cool though. I paid 3 euros for the game, and I can’t recommend it at that price.

I love this game. I'm new to "XCOM-like" games and I actually just got the complete XCOM set on here so like the remake of the game, not the original XCOM... I have played a tiny bit of XCOM and I have played more of this game so far, so I cannot compare this game to a game I've barely played, I can only say that I absolutely love this game. In fact, I ended up getting the audiobook Belisarius Cawl The Great Work by Guy Haley because of this game... I'm about to start getting back into the table top game too soon and I'm actually thinking of playing Adeptus Mechanicus as my new Table Top army as far as an Imperium army. I have to collect a Xenos army too so that I can get my cousin or nephew to play with me sometimes haha... So probably going to try and get my Eldar armies (I play Harlequins, Craftworlds, and Drukhari...) mailed to me ASAP. I moved recently across the country. Been a crazy few years to say the least. I just got into Warhammer video games for the first time ever this past October (2025) and since then I have played like 30 different Warhammer video games, and own like 20 of them myself now and am just collecting DLC of the games I currently have. I have to stop buying new games lol... I want to beat this game so I can start the demo of the sequel. I look forward to getting the sequel. I love the style of this game, how levels are separated, I love the design... I love how you're on a ship and looking at a map as a bunch of tech priests, but then you like zoom into reality and get to see the real place the battles take place once the battles begin. It's a nice contrast of like story vs scenario. I love the voices of the characters, I love that they have different personalities that really stand out and clash with one another. I love love LOVE the MUSIC omfg... Dude... A lot of games I get sick of the music and want to shut it off after a while... But every now and then a gem comes along like the Persona games for example... This is one of those rare gems where I could literally just purposely leave the game open and running so I could like sleep to, read to, meditate to, chill to the music... I am glad I got the sound track with the omnissiah version actually and I usually don't care about that sort of thing even though I'm a musician. And what's funnier is that I don't usually care for electronic music, but it is right up my ally as for like what I would enjoy from an electronic song, and it's very creative how they did it, singing and all, well done guys. The audio all around is great, the sound effects, ambiance, everything, it's all top notch in my opinion. Any part of the game that is simply designed fits perfectly into the game loop flawlessly, and the game isn't too long or too short. I haven't beaten yet, but I play with both of the challenging settings turned on like I can't remember what they're called right now and I honestly haven't played in a week or so... I was about to log into the game actually and this popped up and asked me if I liked it and I'm like "Heck yeah I do!" lol I like this game so much that I want to get the Heretek+ version some how... I'll probably have to buy it on GOG too now to get the Heretek+ bonus weapon and sound track... but this game is worth buying on GOG too. I like the achievements on Steam, but every now and then I do like to get a great game on GOG too just in case... Also these are developers I don't mind paying twice for 2 copies of a dope af game... I hate using number scores, but if I had to like gun to my head I'd say 10/10 and I don't believe in perfection, I just think these guys got damn close to it... They sharpened the blade to perfection, it could cut through paper, but it was not overly sharpened to be dull or under sharped to be useless... it is dancing in the middle of the goldie locks zone of the spectrum of infinite beauty and happiness... yes... that's how much I actually love this game...
