About
After millennia of slumber, Vargard Nefershah mobilises her dynasty’s legions to annihilate the Adeptus Mechanicus interlopers who unknowingly settled upon her world. Across the galaxy, Magos Dominus Faustinius is summoned to bring his hard-won expertise to bear and ensure the Necrons do not succeed. The conflict soon becomes a crucible of unanticipated significance, drawing to it external actors stranger and more deadly still.
Two playable factions, two narrative campaigns, two highly unique play-styles and one important choice – who will you lead to victory in this arcane technological war of cold metal hatred?

Assemble your force, deploy your warriors and crush your enemies in intense turn-based tactical battles. To succeed you’ll need to master and adapt to each faction’s unique abilities and playstyles, as well as the diverse range of combatants at each side’s disposal.
New environmental mechanics require you to maneuver like never before. Play to your chosen faction’s strengths and weaknesses – take cover behind terrain as the Mechanicus, or destroy it as the Necrons.

Fight for control of an entire world, capturing and defending regions from the forces of the foe while generating and managing crucial resources.
Race against the Sankhotep dynasty’s global awakening and drive back their deathless legions as the Mechanicus, or defend the tombs of your people as the Necrons and crush the verminous interlopers.

Deploy and upgrade a characterful entourage of Tech-Priest leaders as Magos Dominus Faustinius, or customise your own court of Necron nobles as Vargard Nefershah.
Manage each of your territory’s garrisons and assemble your forces wisely for each mission, choosing from a vastly expanded selection of fighters from each faction’s range.

Sublime music and audio design by critically acclaimed composer Guillaume David will once again transport you to the grim darkness of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
Incredible illustrations combine with highly detailed and authentic environments and characters to bring the Warhammer 40,000 universe to awe-inspiring life.

Veteran author Ben Counter, best known for his Black Library novels, returns to tell the next chapter of the Mechanicus saga. Atone for past failures as Faustinius in his ongoing war against the ancient Necron species, and follow the inexorable rise of Vargard Nefershah as she seeks to reclaim the dynasty’s crownworld from the Adeptus Mechanicus.
Experience an epic conflict skilfully woven over multiple campaigns, replete with narrative events. Your choices will shape not just the course of the war, but its climactic outcome.

I didn't play it when it was buggy, but there's no bugs now. It's very entertaining, 10/10 would recommend. Way better than Mechanicus.
Really enjoyed the first game, but this one has been a buggy mess. Even after several bug fix and performance patches I'm still getting serious lag (despite having a solid gaming computer) and crashes. It's a shame because I struggled through the Necron campaign and was waiting for some patches before I tried AdMech, but I actually think the games is in a worse place than it was.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I dig it solid turn base game, but sometimes have to save and restart due to lag which is kinda lame but gameplay and story is coo.
It was a good game. The human campaign was much harder in act 3 compared to the necrons, but it was still fun. I completed the game on tactician difficulty.
great game, strictly an improvement over 1. I'm not an audiophile, but every sound effect, voice and music track in here is stellar. Normally I wouldn't even notice that, but here I log in to hear it. Frame drops on waterfall maps is the only issue I've noticed
From the moment I first witnessed the interlopers, they disgusted me. Aeons we slumbered, waiting to reclaim our galaxy. Only for it to become infested with vermin, that proliferated in our absence. Now, we awaken to retake what is ours. Wretched amalgamations of meat and metal, shackled to ignorance by your faith. Do you truly believe you can stop us? We who have shattered our very gods and enslaved them to our will. The stars were young when our empire was ascendant. And when the last of them die, we alone will remain. For we are immortal!
Never played the first game although I had been waiting on this game for about half of a year. Been a Fan of 40k for roughly 2 years as of writing this. TLDR: - Cover could be made better - Certain Characters feel greatly Over/under powered - Necron Faction seems to be getting the Love compared to AdMech (Human) - Necron Faction regeneration timer suffers ingame for the player - Enemy army targets leader and can instakill your battle I wanted to like the game although the game gets really repetitive. You start a mission, have a scripted event, then fight roughly 3 Battles (each consisting of rounds of your army and enemy). The game feels more set for the Necron perspective and really causes the AdMech storyline to feel like an afterthought, along with the gameplay. Gameplay consists of a top down cover-shooter-like game. While I enjoy the concept of utilizing cover, Characters that utilize cover either do no damage or have little to no hp. Cover doesn't allow poking around corners, and will cause enemies to shoot at important units that cannot utilize cover. The gameplay also feels very very rigged at times. I played on a harder difficulty as I like a challenge although there are major flaws for the Leaders of each factions. Long story short each faction has a leader and has abilities given to the chaff units. Tank characters in particular usually cause failure of missions nearly every time. As I stated before certain characters cannot utilize cover. Characters that cannot utilize cover either get targeted or cannot be played. The only way to play said characters is not to use them. I especially dislike the fact that Leaders are the core power and core weakness of your army. Much as the game focuses on having these characters be "Important" it sucks to get through 2 battles with these characters and the last battle causes you to die in the first round allowing softlocking to occur (even with restarts) I had a lot of fun playing the Necron faction although the power creep is seriously felt for your units later on. You end up killing everything when you're nearly half way (again I played on a harder difficulty). Faction has a regeneration system that I feel is horribly utilized. Character gets downed and gets up again in 3 full turns. Except it doesn't. If your character gets downed that turn, that clock doesn't go down until the start of the next turn. So if you have a character get instakilled at the beginning of the round you must wait 4 turns to use them. Not only this but if you have you entire army downed in this state, you cannot bring in more units (even though your army is all downed). This leads your leader to face the entire enemy alone (Usually resulting in a game over). Truly I love the concept of the game and storyline. I wish I could sit down again and want to play the game again. You cannot customize your chaff units, cover while being a necessity for AdMech is seriously under developed, and the gameplay stutters constantly even when on lower settings. I would be willing overlook these things if the game wasn't so repetitive, especially considering the world they are working with. While I want to continue the story and gameplay, even when playing on easier difficulties, I have lost my want to play this game.
