Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 26 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

boring and unconvincing That's the two terms i would use to describe this product. The biggest flaw is probably the gunplay, which lacks in every direction. it lacks punch, half of the time you're randomly missing the shot even when you are aiming correctly. It doesn't help that the gameplay is corroborated by one of the most boring representations of the 40k universe; it created the stereotype of the Tau as a boring faction (and in this game, they are so boring). Last but not least of the "feature" of this game, the enemy variety, is incredible: 4 enemy types + 2. That's the recipe to give us the game that basically killed the whole idea of having a Warhammer 40k FPS until the arrival of Boltgun (our lord and saviour 🙏).
What kind of MASOCHIST you are, if you have completed the game? 😁

10/10 - Better than Combat Evolved For real though, Fire Warrior is one of the games of all time for sure, The only reason I trudged through this one is because I'm a big 40k fan and enjoy the universe. After only briefly playing it a bit when I was younger, it was like experiencing this game for the first time - and boy was it frustrating at times. The game just really feels off at times, especially when it comes to aiming and hit detection. Some enemy spawns in later levels feel particularly annoying and unfair as well. Having a Chaos Space Marine literally materialize out of nowhere just to hit you in the face with a rocket launcher from less than two yards away got old after the tenth time. The weapon spread is insane with many of the weapons and trying to land solid hits at times felt like I was making rolls in a tabletop game and at the mercy of RNG. Another thing to be aware of is the fact that the options tab in game is basically useless. All meaningful adjustments must be made in the launcher in a separate config window. This made it frustrating having to relaunch the game multiple times to fix things like bindings and sensitivity. Is Fire Warrior the only game to do this? No. Is it still annoying? Yes. That being said, the game ran fine on my desktop and I didn't encounter any issues in its operation. No crashes, glitches, failures, etc. For what its worth, this 2026 release of the game ran smoothly. I honestly don't know if I can recommend this game to anyone. The amount of jank in it is pretty frustrating, especially when considering the era in which the game first released. Trying to convince anyone, especially modern audience and "yellow paint" gamers to play this is a fool's errand. My morbid curiosity in this game spurred by my affinity for 40k content ultimately led to me feeling disappointed and wanting this ride to end. A consolation prize for finishing this game is the fact that you get all 21 achievements during your playthough so I guess it is good for achievement hunting if you can put up with this game. Approach with caution.
Minus: - Xeno-dude try to be good - We killing humans while play gor false "greater good" - Can`t pray to the Emperor - Final boss is sh*t and die like a balloon Plus: + Killing chaos + Extermenatus of planet at the end + Atmosphere of giant gothic manufactorum and empirial ship (tau ship is sucks)
My god does this game not hold up. Clunky, hardly any music, slow, terrible graphics, trash enemy AI, uninspired sfx... when you realize this game came out two years AFTER Halo, these feel like a lazy arcade shooter.
An old-school FPS where one of the weaker units in the setting takes down some of its heaviest hitters, like Space Marines and Dreadnoughts. Not really consistent with the lore, but decent enough in its design. Unfortunately it boils down to going from point A to point B, and it doesn't feel all that different no matter which weapon you're holding. Still, despite its flaws it's a perfectly OK game for when you're bored and in the mood for a corridor shooter.
When I was a young child at Primary School in the 2000s, 40k was a very very niche thing, and I recall telling my friends about it, none of them knew what it was, but one of my friends had this game on ps2 and gave it to me! ...I did not make it past the prison mission aha, now that I am older in my 20s I have beaten the game! To play this game you will need to have an iron will and patience. I see a lot of other reviewers did not have this and complain a lot about the difficulty of the game but, seldom do retro games hand-hold you through the experience. Pros -Voice Modulation for guard makes them not human and scary - Playing a game from a xenos/Non-Imperium Perspective is unique and a fresh experience - Neat Retro Aesthetic - Railgun (lategame) is soooo satisfying to shoot! Cons - LACK OF music - Clunky Aim and mouse Controls - Very very Unforgiving Checkpoints GAME FINISHED AND 100%
Это я забрался в сады нургла и насрал в чан деду, чтобы сотворить это чудо
If Halo was painfully mediocre. Tau fire WARRIOR HAS NO MUSIC OUTSIDE OF THE CUTSCENES. This game is dead silent outside of the occasional cheap sound effects used. During the opening mission where you think there should be tons of sciwar themed sound effects everything is so eerily quiet. The audio is very bitcrushed even for the time. The mouse by default has this weird issue with weirdly accelerating for large motions but being sluggish for precise motions. Theres also mannable turrets in the game placed with no enemies to shoot at. The weapon balancing is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and unlike literally any other game the 2 measly weapon slots are type-locked. You must always carry the Tau Railrifle and 1 human weapon. And when you run out of ammo for the rail rifle: good luck because its staying on your character. And ammo is scarce for it so you end up using the ♥♥♥♥♥♥, low-velocity projectile lasgun which works like a blaster from star wars but lame and does very little damage. The Lasgun is the workhorse weapon of the game and it is not fun to use. The shotgun is kinda fun but thats because its actually hitscan with nice sound design and a fast reload. Its Y2K slopkino I guess. Graphics are not that far off from being the same fidelity as Quake 3. Its a very generic "halo killer arena shooter" that has nowhere near the depth you would want. This game reminds me alot of the first Killzone game (which looks like a great game in comparison) and the other forgotten slopkino title of "Iron Storm/World War 0" for Playstation. Waves of infinitely respawning enemies (especially if they do not drop extra ammo) are always not fun to play against and some of the levels have them constantly. If you really like the Tau or the War for Armageddon and are interesting in a kind of funny bad game that is mostly just boring, I guess this is the game for you.
