For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is a fast-paced turn-based strategy game set in the grimdark universe of the 41st Millennium. Pick your force, develop your army, field mighty heroes and fight for victory using superior strategy, awesome abilities, and devastating weaponry.
Experience an epic twenty mission single-player campaign that explores the aftermath of the Devasta-tion of Baal. Help Sergeant Carleon and his allies purge the Tyranid infestation on Baal Secundus, and preserve the honour of the noble Blood Angels.
Fight across the surface of Baal on maps of your choosing in the Skirmish mode. Pick the faction you'll lead as well as the one you'll face. Completely customize your army list by selecting your units, heroes and their loadouts. It is available with three different types of Objective: Exterminatus, Conqueror and Strategic Command.
Planetary Supremacy is a conquest-style skirmish campaign, introduced in a free update as part of our ever expanding plan for Battlesector, in which you, the player, decide the outcome.
Take command of your favourite faction and conquer the planet in a series of procedurally generated skirmish battles. To achieve victory, capture more tiles, acquire strategic resources and expand your army. Then, bring destruction to your enemies in Skirmish battles.
Daemonic Incursion is a single-player mode that is available to all Battlesector players as part of a free update that was launched alongside the Sisters of Battle Faction Pack. In Daemonic Incursion, waves of Khornate daemons enter realspace to spill blood, collect skulls and overrun your forces. This is a last-stand mode, in which your objective is simple: SURVIVE!
Command iconic units like the Sanguinary Priest, the Librarian Dreadnought, and the Hive Tyrant to annihilate your foes. Use over 60 abilities and 50 weapons to orchestrate your opponent’s bloody de-mise.
Each faction has a unique Momentum system that can result in a Surged unit. Units that Surge are able to string together superhuman chains of actions, or use the opportunity to further upgrade their abili-ties.
Use Command Points to call in faction-specific air support abilities. The Blood Angels Stormraven can obliterate xenos with a missile barrage, or deep strike a unit of veteran Assault Marines behind enemy lines. Meanwhile, the Tyranid Harpy can devastate the enemy defenses with its Sonic Screech, or scat-ter the battlefield with its deadly Spore Mines.
With live and asynchronous multiplayer, and hotseat modes available, there’s no excuse not to take your friends to war.

I played Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector for around 11 hours and I’m close to finishing the campaign. The game is not bad, it is actually enjoyable at times, but it has some fundamental issues that prevent me from recommending it. The biggest problem is pacing. For a turn-based strategy game, it is extremely slow. Enemy turns take too long, animations are slow, and overall the flow of the game becomes frustrating. I even had to use a trainer to speed up the game just to make it playable, and once you get used to that, it is hard to go back. This is not about performance, the game runs fine, it is simply how the game is designed. Another issue is the lack of proper control over basic systems. The game does allow you to position units at the start of missions, but the way it is implemented feels very limited. Units are placed in a predefined area and often end up in awkward or random positions, especially considering different units have different movement ranges and roles. You can reposition them manually, but there are no formation tools, no templates, and no way to save layouts. This forces you to reorganize your entire army every single mission, repeating the same setup over and over again. For a strategy game, this becomes frustrating because you are not making new decisions, you are just correcting the system every time. The game gives you different unit roles, like attackers, support and commanders, but does not give you proper tools to organize them efficiently. This makes the strategy feel limited even when the game tries to offer structure. The gameplay itself is simple and can be fun, but it lacks depth. You are mostly pushing units forward, reacting to enemy actions, and repeating the same flow. There is very little strategic flexibility. The game also limits how many units you can bring, which reduces the scale and removes the possibility of experimenting with larger battles. Another frustration is how enemies can call reinforcements while you have very limited control over doing the same. The system exists, but it feels restricted and not very intuitive. The game is not boring, and it can be a decent experience if you just want something simple to play while doing something else, but that is also part of the problem. For a strategy game, especially in the Warhammer 40K universe, it should offer more depth, more control and better pacing. In the end, this is a “fine” game, but it fails in basic areas that matter for the genre. There are better turn-based strategy games out there that offer more depth, better systems and a more engaging experience. Score: 6/10 (1) Trash (2) Horrible (3) Very Bad (4) Bad (5) Average« (6) Fine (7) Good (8) Very Good (9) Great (10) Master Piece

A great turn based strategy game like the XCOM games! This is the closest officially licensed game we will ever get to the tabletop war game.

For me, the inability to turn off the extremely limiting fog of war really spoils the game. It turns what would be a good game into a waste of time. To some degree or another, it seeks to emulate the table top game where you can obviously see each other's forces. Here, the field of vision is so narrow that you often can only see an enemy unit when it appears out of the fog, attacking you. This makes any tactics or division of your forces obsolete as you could be sending any of your units directly towards any number of theirs. This means the only effective tactic is to concentrate all your forces and indeed firepower in one place to deal with whatever lurches out of the fog. At the time of writing, you cannot turn this fog of war off and it sadly detracts from the game immensely.
Slightly similar to the actual tabletop game, very free customization for your armies, basically endless fun. (it is better with faction DLC though, and lots of people in the community are adult children and whine about everything)
The best adaptation of the tabletop faction v faction action warhammer 40k has ever had! Little buggy here and there but mostly with minor, often comical visual errors like a dead assault marine stuck in mid air killed via overwatch lol I hope they add more factions! Would love to see Aeldari and Mechanicus!
I play this on steamdeck and PC, it is turned based and does not require knowledge of 40k to enjoy. That being said, it is sure to entice you to learn more about the universe and its canon. Regarding gameplay, it is enjoyable. I am working my way through the DLC. I got this game through a bundle so I cant speak to the value of it at full price. I found the base game with no DLC to be satisfying.
Nota: 8/10 ———————————————————————————————————————— (UPDATE: The new crusade mode makes the game very interesting and now you can conquer many planets in long campaigns, so I increased the score of the game to 9/10 ) I did read a negative review saying that this game was a simulator of moving troops in lines like they’re dancing the conga, and it made me laugh a lot because, in a way, it’s true. The maps in each battle are large, and I understand that for some players this can be tedious. The graphics and animations are good, and it is tactical and visually more detailed than its turn-based sibling, Gladius. I recommend this game if you want to get to know and learn about the units of enemy factions, not just your own. Battlesector allows you to equip your units with different weapon options. My favorite game mode is Planetary Supremacy mode, which lets you research technologies between battles in a Total War-style approach, as well as conquer sectors of the planet or reinforce your army on the planetary map, allowing you to configure your army to your liking. Score: 9/10
Honestly, the game is really bad. The literal only redeeming factor is that it's WH40K, otherwise just about everything about the game sucks. If it wasn't WH40K, it would be absolutely review bombed. The voice acting is poor (as well as the sound engineering on the voices, it's amateurish at best), the voice script is poor (it's so goofy that I had to just turn it off, it's really awful), the QOL is poor, the balance is poor, a lot of the design/feature choices are poor, it's just not a good or fun game. Everything about it feels tedious and plain. Take the missions for example. You have an objective like, get to this point and hold out for 3 turns. After you complete every objective, you then *still* get "kill all of the other enemies". Why tf would you not just go and kill all the enemies anyway then if the game is going to force you to? It makes every missions colossally boring because you have to just slog through slowly clearing out enemies, and take away from the whole excitement of "hold out x point for x rounds!" The balance of stuff like enemies getting more movement + free attacks + free opportunity attacks is really dumb too, and even when you choose to take the hits from opportunity attacks, it just drags your units back anyway so literally what is the point? So poorly designed, and adds to the tediousness when you then have less units because your assault units get 1 shot by half the enemies so it slows down the whole game even more. There is basically no QOL in the game either, so many really easy QOL additions that would make the flow of the game so much better, and yet they can't manage it (but can manage to throw in some overpriced DLC tho!!! Hell yeah!). Makes it so obvious that the developers just lack the talent/int when compared to literally every other game in the genre, this game falls so far short when it comes to QOL. And then to top it all off, if you want *any* of the additional units/races, that will cost you literally 50-100% of the price of the whole game for a couple of units. Scumbags.
