Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Jul 23 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is a fast-paced turn-based strategy game set in the grimdark universe of the 41st Millennium. Pick your force, develop your army, field mighty heroes and fight for victory using superior strategy, awesome abilities, and devastating weaponry.
Experience an epic twenty mission single-player campaign that explores the aftermath of the Devasta-tion of Baal. Help Sergeant Carleon and his allies purge the Tyranid infestation on Baal Secundus, and preserve the honour of the noble Blood Angels.
Fight across the surface of Baal on maps of your choosing in the Skirmish mode. Pick the faction you'll lead as well as the one you'll face. Completely customize your army list by selecting your units, heroes and their loadouts. It is available with three different types of Objective: Exterminatus, Conqueror and Strategic Command.
Planetary Supremacy is a conquest-style skirmish campaign, introduced in a free update as part of our ever expanding plan for Battlesector, in which you, the player, decide the outcome.
Take command of your favourite faction and conquer the planet in a series of procedurally generated skirmish battles. To achieve victory, capture more tiles, acquire strategic resources and expand your army. Then, bring destruction to your enemies in Skirmish battles.
Daemonic Incursion is a single-player mode that is available to all Battlesector players as part of a free update that was launched alongside the Sisters of Battle Faction Pack. In Daemonic Incursion, waves of Khornate daemons enter realspace to spill blood, collect skulls and overrun your forces. This is a last-stand mode, in which your objective is simple: SURVIVE!
Command iconic units like the Sanguinary Priest, the Librarian Dreadnought, and the Hive Tyrant to annihilate your foes. Use over 60 abilities and 50 weapons to orchestrate your opponent’s bloody de-mise.
Each faction has a unique Momentum system that can result in a Surged unit. Units that Surge are able to string together superhuman chains of actions, or use the opportunity to further upgrade their abili-ties.
Use Command Points to call in faction-specific air support abilities. The Blood Angels Stormraven can obliterate xenos with a missile barrage, or deep strike a unit of veteran Assault Marines behind enemy lines. Meanwhile, the Tyranid Harpy can devastate the enemy defenses with its Sonic Screech, or scat-ter the battlefield with its deadly Spore Mines.
With live and asynchronous multiplayer, and hotseat modes available, there’s no excuse not to take your friends to war.

Reviews
I'm negatively reviewing this game on the sole basis that instead of making a more unique faction pick such as the Aeldari for the next faction, we are getting a copy paste space marine faction just to satisfy those greedy inept board members at GW. I don't dislike the Ultramarines, but they are severely overrepresented right now. It's a cash grab worse than the Primaris expansion for Gladius, because at least with Gladius they did a bunch of unique factions before they added new space marine stuff. TLDR just play Gladius, it even has unit addition mods.
Ave Sanguinius! Pater noster 🩸

I'm not a big player of this type of games but I enjoyed this game. The campaign was fun, the devs respond when there's issues, the graphics are beautiful and the factions I used were interesting. If you're thinking of starting to go into the Turn-Based Strategy genre I highly recommend this game.
This is a decent offering for a turn based tactical 40k game. The units are well realized and faithful to the tabletop. Over time the game has added more game modes so there is something to do with your factions. At the time of review there is one free (blood angels) and one paid (sisters of battle) scripted campaigns, and then several sandbox campaign options. The game is not all good, there is a serious lack of polish to many of the features. Units can bog down and get in each others way. The surge mechanic that can unlock extra moves for a unit works great for some armies and is an afterthought for others. Getting through the various menu screens is more cumbersome than it should be. Still, the lack of polish does not take away enough from the overall package. There are supposedly more campaign features coming. If the Crusade campaign mode is ever released the game should be a lot better overall. Soft recommend, 6/10
Bought it, played a a couple campaign missions, tried the crusade to the second level, and I don't want to go back to playing this game. It's just meh. As others have pointed out, the AI is brain dead, early on it's hard to understand that (maybe there's some grand strategy?) but no, the AI simply sucks at this game. WH40k: Battlesector looks pretty, the guns sound good and the visual effects are ok. But the core gameplay and progression - why bother? Multiplayer has 3 locked games, so much for that.

The game does a faithful job of recreating the units, but the gameplay itself is SO boring.
If you like 40K and/or turn based tactic games , BUY on sale. It is OK and can be fun. That being said this is NOT the table top game, its similar. The story campaign is cool and worth doing. The "Planetary" campaign is limited as is the "Crusade" mode. I can't see playing this game past this point (69 hours), It is NOT a game I could play for hundreds of hours.
Noice, good game, overall it feels really close to the tabletop!
