Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Jul 23 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is a fast-paced turn-based strategy game set in the grimdark universe of the 41st Millennium. Pick your force, develop your army, field mighty heroes and fight for victory using superior strategy, awesome abilities, and devastating weaponry.
Experience an epic twenty mission single-player campaign that explores the aftermath of the Devasta-tion of Baal. Help Sergeant Carleon and his allies purge the Tyranid infestation on Baal Secundus, and preserve the honour of the noble Blood Angels.
Fight across the surface of Baal on maps of your choosing in the Skirmish mode. Pick the faction you'll lead as well as the one you'll face. Completely customize your army list by selecting your units, heroes and their loadouts. It is available with three different types of Objective: Exterminatus, Conqueror and Strategic Command.
Planetary Supremacy is a conquest-style skirmish campaign, introduced in a free update as part of our ever expanding plan for Battlesector, in which you, the player, decide the outcome.
Take command of your favourite faction and conquer the planet in a series of procedurally generated skirmish battles. To achieve victory, capture more tiles, acquire strategic resources and expand your army. Then, bring destruction to your enemies in Skirmish battles.
Daemonic Incursion is a single-player mode that is available to all Battlesector players as part of a free update that was launched alongside the Sisters of Battle Faction Pack. In Daemonic Incursion, waves of Khornate daemons enter realspace to spill blood, collect skulls and overrun your forces. This is a last-stand mode, in which your objective is simple: SURVIVE!
Command iconic units like the Sanguinary Priest, the Librarian Dreadnought, and the Hive Tyrant to annihilate your foes. Use over 60 abilities and 50 weapons to orchestrate your opponent’s bloody de-mise.
Each faction has a unique Momentum system that can result in a Surged unit. Units that Surge are able to string together superhuman chains of actions, or use the opportunity to further upgrade their abili-ties.
Use Command Points to call in faction-specific air support abilities. The Blood Angels Stormraven can obliterate xenos with a missile barrage, or deep strike a unit of veteran Assault Marines behind enemy lines. Meanwhile, the Tyranid Harpy can devastate the enemy defenses with its Sonic Screech, or scat-ter the battlefield with its deadly Spore Mines.
With live and asynchronous multiplayer, and hotseat modes available, there’s no excuse not to take your friends to war.

Gameplay...great turn based fun graphics....great fun to play and watch the animations. able to make your own maps and stories...amazing great idea and easy to use to get some fun locations built. Paying 60 bucks for base game 2 factions.....wait till a good 50% off or more sale. DLC cost per faction......20 to 30 bucks....ouch...wait till a good 50% or more sale. Even with sales it's gonna be min 100 to 200 bucks to start filling out the factions. Fun game but be warned, like warhammer 40k tabletop, prepare to dish out some coin.
If you are interested in 40K wargame probably this is the best place to try out something close to it. But to be clear the game offers a bunch of DLCs for a good amount of armies, and does that worth it? Only if you got a friend to play against, because except one the rest of the DLCs are just armies what you can only use in skirmishes or multiplayer. I don't know how exciting could that be... So if you get it on a deep discount, you can get the right amount of fun out of it. And actually not that hard to get 100% achievement if that's someone's wish.

Not quite everything that you'd want from a 40K game, but close...and what is there kicks ass! Great game, just a touch pricey. The Sisters of Battle DLCs are fantastic, but the rest vary greatly. All in all, no regrets about this purchase.
Don't get me wrong. I love this game. It pains me to have to downvote it. When someone tells me they're getting into tabletop Warhammer, this is the game I tell them to get first. It's relatively cheap compared to armies, books and paint but also fairly accurate in terms of everything else even if the systems themselves might not be the same. DLC is expensive, some armies are unreleased/unavailable but that's not my gripe despite the DLC price point. I felt it would be absolutely worth it for what you get. So when this free week came around I was excited to play. For some reason though, I don't know if it was the latest update or what but the game just doesn't open anymore and I can't recommend this game in that kind of state. Maybe it'll work for you, or just try it on other platforms.
Fun 40k turn based combat. Fun main story campaign. Other game modes are fine but a little limited.

The game does a faithful job of recreating the units, but the gameplay itself is SO boring.
What a massive let-down of a game. 5 years after release, this game runs so slow and clunky. The DLC is weak, over-priced and often broken at release, even though they take more than 6 months to create DLC which consists of less than a dozen units. Absolutely pathetic and insulting. I keep coming back to this game every 6 months or so and each time I do, almost nothing has improved. There is even a new game mode that is just a slight variation of an already-existing mode and it is taking forever to finish. It's like they already have our money so they don't care. This is such a shame because I really want to like this game. A new developer needs to take over ASAP!
