Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

WARCANA is a fantasy inspired real-time base defence strategy game with a unique deck-building mechanic. Take on the role of a mighty magician and face the challenge of surviving waves of unrelenting attacks whilst simultaneously summoning your own large armies. Lay waste to your rivals in either a battle-royale with up to 30 other players, or in a series of single player campaigns.
Build your deck. Prepare your defences. Summon your armies. Survive the onslaught. Will you be the last one standing?

All cards have their own tech trees, with abilities ranging from summoning buildings, units, or casting spells. More cards are unlocked from summoned economy buildings, so be sure to play your cards right and consider your tech tree route in order to have ferocious monsters, destructive spells and more at your command. Choose poorly however, and you'll be left vulnerable to being overrun with just the round timer to save your base.

Challenge yourself in a single player campaign featuring 30+ scenarios, or create your own using the in-game editor. The single player campaign makes it easy to learn the basics, understand how the devotions differ from one other and really hone the craft of a mighty mage.

Be the last one standing in a Battle Royale against up to 30 players, where at any given time each player faces off against two direct opponents. An additional Horde Mode has players race to get the highest kill score and in the Stream Sniper mode, players can experience epic social moments as part of an online community playing against streamers.

Summon hundreds of thousands of units to your army as a maelstrom of monsters simultaneously cause extensive destruction to your own defences. The different devotion and unit types add further considerations in breaking through to your opponent's bases.

Sow the seeds of mythical forces as a "Fay Caller", spread demonic dread as a champion of "Occultism", or unleash other cosmic horrors from the other selection of fantastical devotions. Each has their own unique devotion perk, gameplay mechanic and distinct theming. Selecting primary and secondary devotions for multicoloured decks adds further depth and variety to how the battles play out.

Abandoned before it could really be what it was supposed to be. Very sad, I was really looking forward to this one.
Game had such potential ruined by Dev's who couldn't even implement a rotate function. Designed maps to be "hard" around the fact none of your towers could hit certain areas of the map where enemies spawned and called it good design. Game is abandoned and instead of releasing any notes or saying they're no longer working on it they quietly updated the FAQ on their studio website saying it'll get no updates unless they volunteer their time. If their next game is anything like this their studio will be closed by next year.

Can't even play the game, and the developers have abandoned the game. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!
I want to like this game, but the shape of buildings, the poor targeting and the inability to select a faction on single player missions is just boring. Some of the factions are far stronger than others and the controls are about 80% to where they should be. It feels like they just left it unfinished and sent it out. Tower attack hitboxes are also very odd. I paid 5 dollars for this and it was too much.
THE GAME IS A CASH OUT DID NOT INPROVE FROM THE DEMO AT ALL DO NOT WAST YOUR MONEY
Really good concept & decent execution, but if you don't have a group ready to actively PvP against then its barely playable. Campaign is mostly scenario based and not that long, and there's no skirmish or AI modes. Your options are just PvP or replay the same few scenarios. You can make your own scenarios, but by the time you've finished making one you're already going to know its strengths and weaknesses. I had fun at the start, but it feels as if you're fully railroaded in each scenario, just like watching a heavily interactive movie
If I could just play the MP game against AI, so I can just chill and use custom decks, it would be fun, but you cant do that, so its not that fun. If you want to play through the campaign which is just scenarios using prebuilt decks, or you want to play against other people, go for it.
I feel very mixed about this review, so I'll give it my best shot: Negatives: - I find it sad that it feels like the support is dropped. No updates since very short after release - Community is dead, online games will not be easily possible and it was designed with multiplayer in mind Mixed: - It has a very difficult learning curve and it does not help you allot in figuring out what to do - Once you know how to navigate the battles by knowing how to deck grows and shrinks based on how and when you play the cards it suddenly feels like scenario's are possible (I do feel this is the reason the game failed to catch a community, I think it was well designed in its game mechanics, but poorly explained and if it does not hook you to figure out, you might easily pass this game on for a game with simpler mechanics) Positives: - The art style is really appealing to me - I enjoy the 'figuring out what to do' at my own pace as it allows for in battle pauzes - Overall the game does feel good and fun to play, I enjoy the "will I survive this wave?" feeling of it, it is not one of those games that makes you absolutely loose or absolutely win, but every wave is a percentage, and then you get to optimize your base and see if you can survive a slightly stronger wave again. If you loose way quickly, figure out the mechanics and try again.
its a fun game but has a few qol annoyances. if its abandoned can i have it to fix it?
Makes me sad to write this. The art is fantastic, the concept is awesome, and audio is great! The game play is also fun within mission. The problem comes with trying to force a multi-player, and a strange layout for the campaign. Mission selection is difficult to navigate at best, and impossible at times. There are certain missions on single player that are nearly impossible unless you get exactly lucky at exactly the right time. In addition to all this, there's a major problem with the tool tips not explaining everything. But you can learn by brute forcing mission after mission attempt. So maybe that's part of its replay-ability and charm. Over all, a few minor tweaks and this would be one of the best indie games out there. But it seems the publisher and dev have both abandoned the project. Which is just tragic. It had such an amazing They Are Billions vibe, the clashing aesthetics, the bit art is all amazing. It has everything there to BE a major success. But it lacks cohesion, ease of navigation in the campaign, a clear story line, and needs some serious quality of life changes like tool tips etc, to make it shine like it needs to. I want to love this game so badly! But . . . no. I can't recommend you buy it.
