Boring Gameplay, paired with pay2win
The grind is absolutely horrendous and its the kind of game where skill doesn't matter that much and is just about how strong of spells you have. No store is available on Steam VR so oculus players can just pay to win. (also 90% of players are about 12 years old and don't ever mute so there's that)
i also played the original wizard game for like 4 hours, and i must say, it was decent until i started raging and noticing how ass a lot of mechanics were, the aiming is really bad cause spells be in your face making you effectively blind, you can pay to win and the coins oyu get to get the spells for free? yeah i got one single spell today in 4 hours of constant playing, and that was the cheapest one, my win rate went with the free spells from 100 in a really high lobby to 70 percent, also kinda a lot of kids, i cant really recommend it
Игра веселая, англоязычные школьники с посредственными навыками игры постоянно что-то орут и отлетают с пары заклинаний, а с остальными сражение действительно веселое
good
Alright so this is gonna be really in depth and for people that can't be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to read: Microtransactions don't exist on PC, making the game p2w in favor of Quest users. The game constantly crashes and bugs out on Steam. The spells are unbalanced. There is no patch notes ever unless you join their Discord. I had to tell the admins to make them on every update. The game contains zero original asset. They are all from the Unity asset store or others as they lack 3D artists or.. Artists in general. The soundtrack, graphics and models are all from the store or AI generated. The only original thing is the code. Communication with the dev team is incredibly complicated. Now for the more complicated part. I have a hard history with this game. I've been an admin on their Discord server and I was the only person involved into modding the game into something more useable on Steam. The concept is really great, I LOVE the idea of it. The execution is mid at best. Ive listed all the previous issues I've had with it. The community is the worst part of it. Do not join the Discord, even if its the source of patch notes. Just refer to what is in game. The community is toxic, filled with unbearable children and genuinely immature. The developers are kind but unable to understand what is happening due to their native language being Chinese. The worst offender of this is the main active community manager, Dean. I've had to make an entire exposé on him and even that still did not change much of anything. Overall, I won't claim innocence, I've done bad things too, especially in exposing him. The devs were kind, do not blame them for any of this, it's alot of mismanagement though. The game is still fun on Quest despite the clear lack of spell balancing. However, do not buy it for PCVR.
