Prices

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Tired of invading dungeons? It's time you built your own!
Do you feel you’re in a slump, monotonously disembowelling evil guys in endless quests for gold and a slightly better pair of boots? Are you starting to wonder if heroics really are your calling? Then welcome to the War for the Overworld!

Excavate and build your dungeon beneath the overworld, in the modern dungeon management game that’s most faithful to the genre’s original DNA. Evil loves options, and within the Veins of Evil there are plenty to go around! Choose from over sixty rooms, spells, potions, rituals, defences and constructs as you progress through the game. Deploy your fiendish tools against the goodly heroes of the overworld, and teach them the price of trespass.

With six game modes to choose from you can conquer your enemies in your own unique way. Choose from Campaign, Skirmish, Scenarios, Multiplayer, Survival, and the My Pet Dungeon expansion (free 2-level demo included in the base game), and discover what it truly means to be the bad guy.

Build your own maps and campaigns with the intuitive and powerful Map Editor, complete with scripting support, then share them on the Steam Workshop to join the ranks of thousands of custom maps already created! Meddle further, and change the very rules themselves to your liking with dozens of mutators. Being evil has never been so creative!

War for the Overworld is developed by an independent team of fanatical developers, each with a true love of the dungeon management genre. We have continued to update the game since launch, with countless patches, balancing, polish, and many new features. Our community has been vital to our success, and we couldn’t have made the game what it is today without their help. We thank them sincerely.

Dungeon Keeper is back. Better, more beautiful, more evil. What EA didn't do is well done here. It's nice to be evil. If you liked Dungeon Keeper, clear purchase recommendation.
A classic from the early 00s loved this game back then. Now with lots of updates and modifications the old Dungeon Keeper you remember is back. Still playing this in 2026.. Has lots of levels as well as new content added. Recommended !

常に時間制限でせかされるうえに敵の方がレベルが高いので、ダンジョン建設で死にゲーをやらされる 暗くて周囲すら見えないのでやってて爽快感がまるでないです。
This is a modern version of a old goldie called Dungeon Keeper. I dont kow how many hours I spent in DK2 but this game is going to cause the same lose of time. Definitely worth spending some hours playing through the campaign and then enjoying the pet dungeon mode.
Error doesn't let me play "Too many threads" Look for fixes and the devs in 2015 say they're looking into it
Worth playing if you're a fan of dungeon keeper!
Cannot recommend this game. Tried to get back into it but it just isn't that good. First the controls are pretty bad. The game is really slow and just isn't that fun. But the biggest thing is how many DLC and achievements linked to them. There are over 140 achievements and if I look at it correctly more than 100 of those achievements have been completed by only 10% of the people that played the game. That just shows the bloat. Would not recommend.
Timed Achievements are the reason for this negative review.
Dungeon Keeper 1 & 2 were games that set fire to my young imagination many years ago. These games have an undeniable charisma that pulls you in and makes you want to explore their nooks and crannies. War for the Overworld is essentially Dungeon Keeper 3, and has the same magnetism as the golden oldies. BUT a lot of the actual gameplay mechanics can be a little bit vague. You control your armies by setting down "Rally Flags" which your army will move toward, but you don't have direct RTS-like control over your units. This is what I mean by vague - you just kind of plop down your flag and hope for the best. Unfortunately I've seen units standing around doing nothing whilst enemies bludgeon them to death, trickle into combat in 1s and 2s only to be slaughtered, and generally behave in less than ideal ways - and this is frustrating. Base building, too, can be unintuitive. Your minions will have tasks they like to fulfil and pathing between rooms according to their needs can be difficult to understand and therefore difficult to plan for optimally. The game seems to favour rapid expansion and using as much space as you can for your rooms (in order to get more units), but it sometimes feels like the bigger you go, the more your minions will path from one corner of your base to the other in order to get their needs met. Gameplay-wise, compared to most other modern RTS games, it's all just a bit too hands-off and difficult to optimise for my liking, especially in the later campaign levels which can be quite challenging. That being said, it's still a fun time to build a dungeon, look at some cool minions and listen to the narrator as you unleash your inner evil for a little while.
