haha yeah no you can't be charging money for this game now. this still only has the qualities of a free game, putting it for any price (let alone 5 dollars what!!) is wrong. the game is still brutally unfinished in all the same regards as it was months ago, and you can get all achievements in 5 minutes. it's still early access, it's still the same game. just now with a price tag. do not buy.
Wall Street Tycoon deserves to live on the street!
What was originally a free product has now been given the pricetag of $5 without an announcement of such a change. Wall Street Tycoon is a basic human resource simulator that is...actually more boring than it sounds. You can hire, fire, expand, encourage, ...you know, do human resource stuff. When it was free, it was decent, but basic (again...hire, fire, etc.). But the problem is, it's easy to get lost without a guide and you'll end up using a guide as the bible on how to proceed through the game and treat the guide as law...which is an easy way to get your 100%, but only because of hand-holding with a guide. This shows that the player is not necessarily incompetent, but that not everybody is able to figure the game itself out on their own. If you downloaded this game for free, you're locked at version 1.13 when this game is at about 2.0 in paid form. Of course, it's impossible to download this game for free, so it's most likely that you'll have to cough up $5 just to try it out. I get that times are tough and developers need money, but to suddenly add a pay barrier to punish people for not trying it out sooner is rather low. With that said, I don't recommend Wall Street Tycoon. I found the game itself to be a boring Unity experience and without much to really offer in terms of enjoyment. Props for the effort, but not for the presentation. 1/10 This one just wasn't for me.
This game has amazing potential! Cons: The content is still a little lacking in its current state Needs balance changes & bug fixes Pros: The developers seem very active and are already releasing updates Current content is hilarious, filled with memes Base content, including achievements, 100% free so no harm in giving it a go! With some tweeks, and fresh content, this could be a game to spend hours on!
I double checked - this is suppose to be a complete version of the game, it's not an early access game...hmm To be honest this game feels like unfinished school game project. For almost same price one can buy Capitalism Plus, and I really urge everyone to do so instead. So in short. Pros: -stable, works without issues under Steamplay (Linux) -some humor -employees background options idea (unfortunately it seems they are mostly not working/got not enough attention here) -departments influence on each other Cons: -no save/load option -no collision / route control, your employees will try to get to the same table/machine/pizza/parcel/door and block each other -motivation options not influence game due problem above -motivation furniture doesn't work due problem above -after initial rooster refill, there are no more employees to hire -after short time money is meaningless, there is nothing you can buy with it, except to grind it for high-score -times of motivation action needs to be adjusted: pizza party, parcel DAY to employee of the MONTH takes almost same time -it feels generally empty, after first few game days there is nothing to do here
Дичь скучная Мой итог 2/10
This game was originally free. At that price the game was a funny parody of Tycoon games. But it was not worth any price. There isn't an gameplay, there is no win condition, there just isn't anything to do here. Additionally a random price hike seems fishy to me.
Hey reader, just tested Wall Street Tycoon. It seemed to be fun leading a company. Pro: It is fun to create a company. You can train your staff and raise their salaries. You can motivate them with events. You can design the office rooms which is fun. Contra: Unfortunately you can't save your progress. Thus you always have to launch a new company. Unfortunately you can't react when your staff is sick or needs a day off. There is no action available to send them home :/ A game for some short fun if you like to design and create a company. There is just no real development achievable: You gain money but there is nothing happening anymore (no external effects). Greetings
Don't waste your money...this game should be free. The basic concept for the game could have worked if the game was more of a developed product, but it's not. It barely functions enough to be a rote attempt at a virtual HR simulator.
I tried at release and it was really boring / not much fun, but I waited to see if any improvements were made. It looks like it went from free to play to $5 and didn't add much content. Don't waste your money.
This game is made cheap, hard to understand, and contains a game breaking bug. from the looks of it NO SAVED PROGRESS! Spent an hour playing this game and my company(s) (those that got past the first couple of days) just to learn that none of it mattered but a "High Score" that i could care less about. If I am wrong about the save thing, let me know, same for the bugs I encountered: firing people caused production and hiring to have 0 effect and dooms your company. no one working and earning a HUGE pay...? If any of this info is incorrect, please correct me and guide me through to fixing my problems
