Plays like stacklands, looks like Obra Dinn and feels like Inscryption - whats not to love? Really good game with an awesome vibe. There's a couple of things that really bugged me, maybe I'm just impatient, but the delay between continuing dialogue and the game becoming playable again feels so horribly slow. There are many points that seem to have a random 2-3 second pause before the game continues, its fine to start with but really started bugging me. Could stick a turbo in the wagon while we're at its also very sluggish... A couple of QoL changes I'd like to see; the rites book should retain its size and position when you re-open it, a way to grab the top card from a pile regardless of whether its collapsed or not, ability to lock a stacks position so it doesn't get knocked around by other cards, some sort of autosort button (I get this is tough in this kind of game), maybe this just moves cards onto stacks with a matching top card. Dev - you have quite the gem here, hence my comments on improvements, this is so close to greatness that it would've been a bit of a sin to not share my 2 cents.
Great game, kind of a combination between Cultist Simulator, Inscryption, and Oregon Trail. Highly recommend.

I don't write reviews often, but felt compelled to do so for this game. While I am still very early in my time with this game, I am having a lot of fun with it and will continue to play it.
A beautiful experience. Sometimes, I pause for a second and look at all the dozens of cards I have scattered across the playing field. In those moments, it really feels like I have my own little world in front of me..... Overall very enjoyable, very mysterious!!
Fantastic. Plan to pour more hours into and hopefully gain one hundred percent completion. I will write a more detailed review afterwards. Please continue to support small developers like this who put passion into their work.
Started my game. Ate my party, still died of starvation before the next stop. 10/10 authentic covered wagon based gaming experience.
A very good game. Surprised this hasn't got more traction. Strongly recommend. Particularly if you have a bit of an itch you can't seem to scratch properly after playing inscryption. For the record it is really only similar to inscryption in vibe and feel, the game isn't a copy or anything like that, it is certainly its own game. Devs, please add an infinite mode, I arrived in Oregon with about 4 years of food and wouldve liked to keep going.
Fun game. challenging to start but once you figure it out it gets easier. there is a lot that im not sure i fully understood and getting thru winter came with some serious... sacrifice. also wtf is spiritus for? and ♥♥♥♥ smallpox all my homies hate smallpox
Holy crap, It's rare to have a game I have no idea whats going on, and actually enjoy adapting to it as an intentional challenge. I have played the game 25hrs and beaten it and still probably haven't done half the stuff on it considering I didn't really use the back half of the book yet. It's definitely nowhere near as expansive as something like Inscryption, but if you enjoy Stacklands and want a game that will punish you, oregon trails style, give it a go.
It's an alright game if you liked the first part of Inscryption, but either lacks or doesn't alert the player to some quality of life features that make can make the gameplay annoying. The game's biggest problem is a lack of clarity about when you can or can't camp, and when items do or don't count against the item limit. If you screw up your only option is to power through or restart the game. That rubs me the wrong way, but if it doesn't bother you you'll enjoy the game. As far as I can tell there's no way to gather loose cards of the same type into one stack, pick a card out of the middle of a stack without splitting the stack, lock the cards to a grid so that moving one card to close to others won't send them skittering across the playing surface, close the rule book with one click, or drag the rule book around to get at cards under it without closing it.
