- Мама, я хочу VVVVVV! - Но у нас есть дома VVVVVV. Дома:
This game is NOT the actual VVVVVV(6 V's) This is VVVVV(5 V's) The title may deceive you, so just be careful. The game is actually somewhat good, and when I first made this review, I was just salty about my lost $6 lmao It's very in depth from what I remember, before I uninstalled it and started screaming at the developer. Try it out for yourself! It's fun to try!
I gave it a try but the way the charter moves and the look makes it hard to play.

Don’t listen to the idiots who bought this game thinking it was VVVVVV (6 V’s), this is obviously something totally different. It feels a lot like a game that could be part of Nitrome from back in the Flash game days. Also, the regular game comes with the entire soundtrack in the install, don’t pay more for the soundtrack bundle (but you probably weren’t going to anyways). Nice soundtrack btw.

VVVVV is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This shovelware platformer is an extraordinarily lazy effort with simplistic levels and platforming, it's basically a shovelware minimum viable product slapped together with a Java template. The name tells the whole story, this is an attempt to trick people into thinking it was VVVVVV, a completely different 2D retro pixel platformer. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic low quality art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the mediocre 2D visuals. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Comically, the game was written in Java (I'm not making this up). Talk about not using the right tools for the job. Might as well try to bake a cake with a screwdriver. The extremely poor choice of game engine here is a major contributing factor to the defects with the game. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the game only ever reached a peak player count of 6 confused players wondering why VVVVVV had gotten so bad. This is a pitiful enough number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is remarkable, but also to be expected. This complete and utter rejection of the game from gamers should be a keen information point for anyone considering buying shovelware like this. Gamers just didn't take this seriously, and for good reason.
Warning: Review Manipulation!
This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. VVVVV has an overly optimistic price of around $6 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam.
The game feels like its unfinished If you dont have bullets left you need to restart the game because without killing enemies you cant go far movement is actually not that bad There should be new controls as the game is now i would not recommend buying it
