About
With it's Early Access on the 30th of June 2016, VR: Vacate the Room was the first VR Escape Room on Steam.
It is a VR Experience where you need to find clues to solve puzzles and find your way out of the Room. There are some items that can be grabbed and carried around. With some items you can interact (such as switches and numpads).
Part two can be found on steam as well.
Important:
It currently only supports the HTC Vive.
Medium room size is recommended, but small size should be alright as well.
Please make sure that you can reach at least a height of 2.10 meters.
Good to know:
There is a second room with an alternative ending

only 20 mins or so game play, nothing clever, or interesting. not worth your dollar.
I paid £2.89 for this and finished it in just over an hour. It was well worth it and the puzzles were great. Probably took me 30 minutes to finish the final puzzle. Recommended forna fun gaming break if you can get it for £2/3.
It is cheap and immersive, but short and needs a lot of refinement. For example dropping a balled up piece of paper makes a weird, unrealistic thunking sound. Controls too could be improved, e.g. only one button seemed to do anything and things I expected to be able to interact with were actually just decoration. Would also love a way to recenter the room to better fit my play space. Worth the £2 I paid, as long as you have the true room scale area to play in.
第一关最后注意按身后墙上新出来的红色按钮,按了之后就可以进入第二关了,第二关场景与第一关一样但是更难,如果不知道怎么过第二关可以加我,qq394373207
The game is not very well optimized. It "auto-grabs" objects for you when you bring your controller near them, but then lets go soon afterwards, and manual grabbing (via pressing the trigger) is very picky; even if your controller as represented on the screen is right on top of the object you are trying to grab, sometimes you will just not be able to. Another issue I have with this game is that a certain object does not spawn until you have interacted with another certain object; in an escape room in real life, nothing would just magically appear from thin air once you've touched something. I would like to add on that this game does not allow you to move freely using the joysticks, meaning that for college students such as myself who are confined to tiny dorm rooms, playing games like this one is next to impossible - if you are curious, I was only able to play this game because I am currently back home.
