Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 30 → 0/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.5/day in the week to Jul 16 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my gameplay & impressions here: https://youtu.be/tCC-MeqqZXg This is the best skateboarding game in VR, bar none. It has no competition. However, it is not perfect and I did experience some bugs. Nothing game-breaking though and the game is very enjoyable even as is right now. I had a blast playing it and this is one of the best success stories of a VR Early Access Game. I bought this game back in 2021 and I'm very happy with my purchase and early support for the developers. This is how EA should work, but we all know it seldom works this way. The tricks are easy to learn as far as the basics, but it is quite the challenge to master them. I played this game for about 5 hours straight and I did not want to stop playing (my arm is hurting from all the swings though). I do want to talk about the negatives though. There's a bug in the freaking tutorial where the game asks you to pause, and then if you hit continue, it asks you again to repeat this task. You actually have to push up twice on your joystick. The game also stutters heavily at the start of each map. Not a big deal if you just wait a few seconds. Lastly, it is possible to land in an area and be totally stuck. There is a way to unstuck yourself (grab the board and teleport out), but unfortunately, that has caused my board to spin sometimes uncontrollably and for me not to be able to finish the map. Game is running on the Unreal Engine 5. On my RTX 3080, on high graphical settings, I was getting mostly 72 fps on my Q3 (default). I was able to play comfortably seated. Game looks beautiful. Soundtrack is fire. Gameplay is a lot of fun. I do wish the game had Steam workshop support as I'm sure fans of this game would love to be able to create their own maps & challenges. Multiplayer would be awesome as well. Maybe a replay system & a way to easily share your best tricks (video - which would be genius marketing for this game). Rate 8/10. Maybe the most fun skateboarding game ever, after some bug fixes.
If you enjoyed my review, please consider joining my Steam Curator group Oculus Rift Reviews.
anything that isn't the path you will fall through the floor, pretty sickness inducing tbh
Definitely a good game, but extremely expensive for the amount of gameplay. I admit I didn't get very far in and maybe more options unlock, but for $35 I think anyone would expect more stuff. Good, but wait for a sale.
The Half-Life Alyx of THPS.
An extraordinarily difficult VR title that will surely start you out frustrated haha. This game is tough! But once you start to focus and get it down, like all this practice makes perfect and it turns into a very satisfying ride that you can surely get lost in for hours.
is it fun? yes is it worth full price? no
Needs Multiplayer - then I can see this outshine as a very nice Social Skater Hangout.
Love and own this game on all platforms! Quest, PCVR, PSVR2. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up. The learning curve is very steep, but after a few hours you'll get the hang of it and it'll feel great. It's nice to be able to go for a skate and not worry about breaking my arm!
This game started out with alot of potential, but ever since virtual skate came out i CANNOT justify the price for the game play. NOT worth. better options.
