Ok going by the name I was expecting another ♥♥♥♥ VR game. How wrong I was, what an excellent little shooter that scratches that "I just want to shoot ♥♥♥♥ and not think too much" VR itch that I had not found in VR so far. I just can't believe how much fun this game is, the AI isn't too bad for VR, the graphics are sweet and the sound track is awesome. Really surprised me how good this one is, really the name does not do it justice. Really needs a name change something that doesn't sound like the multitude of ♥♥♥♥ VR projects have been released on steam. I'm quite critical of ♥♥♥♥ VR games, well ♥♥♥♥ games in general just read some of my reviews. This game is on my good list of VR games which is pretty short. Highly recommend and if you want a great shooter in VR just buy this, I just can't get over how this game surprised me.
First of all: I played VR Shooter Guns many hours at a friend's house before I got my own HTC Vive, so pure experience here! At this time (after Friday 13th update) it's a 9/10 rating. Why?

Does what it claims: Fast highscore-hunting game that is fun the 10th, 20th and 50th time you play it. You can squeeze out more points for the global highscore list by developing new tactics and learning to handle those evil turrets (Yes, you can really beat those!)
Simple arcade concept that everyone understands (at the latest after the tutorial)
Even more fun when competeting with your friends (yes, it's entertaining to watch others while you take a break!) - works even better with new CONTEST-mode!
No childish cartoon-graphics or cheap VR adaption! It's an up-to-date genuine VR-game and you can feel that!
Controls and aiming work precisely
Developer addresses user requests, no bugs experienced
Achievements and trading cards
For me the price is just about right. Sometimes you pay double for a game with 6-8 hours game time that you definitely won't play ever again, so with all those hours spent on various accounts playing VR Shooter guns it is really worth it! If you are still hesitating to buy this game, read the review at VideoGamers (google translate) - that guy is absolutely right (still applicable after the update)! The missing point for a 10/10 rating is just because I'd like to keep the developers motivated producing further improvements! ;-)

I did get a review copy from the devs for input purposes. FREE doesn't make me change how I feel about games. NO BIAS AT ALL from me. My main gripe is the price point for the release build although I don't know exactly how long the game is. I played through a few levels until it ended. This is an arcade type shooter with leaderboards. It has only free roam teleport as far as I know. You basically shoot enemy robots as you traverse through the levels to end objectives. You may use cover but don't have to. PLay it how you like basically. Carefully or guns blazing. You can choose how long you want your run to be: 15 minutes, 30 minutes and indefinite. Guns are basic laser type pistols. Game is fairly easy to get into. There are various pick-ups lying around that you can grab to boost you in various ways. You do have to keep moving as you are on a timer. Good for hardcore and casual alike. Graphics are good. The game ran smooth. There were a few things that I suggested (in the discussions) to add/change but they didn't make me not like the game. My score is lower because of them but this is still a buy but I have to say the price is a little steep right now for a game like this. Maybe $10-$14 would be a better price range. 6/10 is my rating. That will go up as more updates come I am sure and if they lower the price a bit for now.
This game is surprisingly good. Not one of those other VR titles that you want to quit even you just started. Good first try for developers. Now please implement snap turn for motion controls and I am happy to play it again. Check out my VR review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8F0yox_tvk&feature=youtu.be Recommended, especially in a bundle.
Really fun, simple, fast paced VR shooter. The gunplay and cover system work really well. You always have to fight multiple enemies at once, who will often try getting behind you. You need to react fast, move quickly from cover to cover and sport a good aim to get those headshots. In addition, the time limit forces you to be aggressive and gives a sense of urgency. Though there is only one location, it is enough to keep you entertained (and sweating) for about 15 minutes per round. Especially fun as a hot seat party game. This game would definitely improve a lot more with different weapons and more levels to choose from.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
This is a good solid arcade timed shooter for VR. Keep in mind there's not much story. This is basically kill as fast as possible and get the highest score type of deal. You run around, take cover, get health pickups or other consumables/ upgrades and try not to die. There is a full locomotion option, but no smooth turning (you have to turn in your playspace). The enemy AI is decent. They will get behind cover themselves or try to flank you. Sometimes they do dumb things like run straight at you. But the AI here is definitely better than most VR games. There's not a lot of enemy variety, but since these are 15-30 minute runs, there doesn't have to be. The gun and upgrades are just okay, at least you get grenades. There are no reloads. There's also all kinds of obstacles along the way, including a space ship with turret guns trying to mow you down. There's leaderboard for bragging rights and game is setup for local party play (take turns). Graphics were not the best, but game ran buttery smooth. Rate 6.5/10. It's mindless fun, but it's well executed here and priced correctly.
This game is pure action! It focuses on guns and shooting - sounds dull, but it isn't. The laser bullets fly around your head like crazy, you take cover, and then one of those damn bots sneaks around the corner and shoots at you. Once you get hooked for score, there's no way back. I can't describe the rush when I try to finish a level as fast as possible with as many kills as possible. There are many many tricks to get more points, and I haven't found them all yet. Get it, beat my score! I'll beat yours again for sure.
This game caught me off guard. I bought it wth a bundle and honestly the title alone made me think it was going to be completely generic garbage. However once I started it up, I was shocked at how fun this game is. The premise of the game is to try and get as far as you can within a certain time limit (there is an infinite time mode if wanted). There are really three areas and if you clear them the game just gets progressively harder (kind of a rogue light mode). The fun of the game though comes in getting power ups/grenades and taking out hordes of red enemies. It supports full locomotion and room scale along with teleportation so VR veterans and newbies can all play the game comfortably. The only thing the game seems to lack is click turning, so you'll want a 360 degree roomscale setup to play this game. I must say once you do get into this game you will be ducking and diving in your play area, side stepping, blind firing and feeling like you've been placed into a 1980's vision of VR gaming. I'm not going to say it's the best VR game out there or anything, but for a fun arcade introduction to VR or just blowing off 15 minutes of mindless fun you could do a lot worse. I really enjoyed this game for what it is, and will use it to introduce folks to VR along with SuperHot and Space Pirate Trainer purely because it supports teleportation and allows them to see not all VR games are locked into one place.
