VR Fun World includes 16 mini-games. Some of which are about shooting targets, others require physical interactions e.g throwing, hitting or collecting items. Besides the Steam leaderboard, a local highscore for each game keeps the competition fierce at your next game night.

That's it, I'm going to run for president and the first bill I'm going to pass is the "first time unity projects shall not be sold on steam" Bill. I received in a bundle so this is the first time I have been to the store page, so finding out a pile of similar crappy first time unity projects put together in a ♥♥♥♥ menu with ♥♥♥♥ music and ♥♥♥♥ assets is $8.00 has blown my mind. Jesus, I would feel ripped off at 99 cents with a 90% discount coupon. This every Tom, ♥♥♥♥ and Sally is a Dev has to stop, this is what is going to kill VR, people being introduced to ♥♥♥♥ like this as a VR experience. Dev's (and I use the term loosely) if you read this just give the game away, it's not worth $8.00, it's stuffing filler in a Bundle like I received it. There are much better games you can get for free for VR than this pile of parrot Poo. Oh yeah and if you're going to title your game Fun world at least try and make it fun.
I played this on the Oculus Rift with Touch and can confirm it works. So this is not the worst party mini-game collection out there. The sheer quantity of games ensures you'll at least enjoy 1 or 2 of them. But the overall quality is just not very good. Several of the mini-games are just waves shooters that play almost exactly identically. And it was very rough navigating the UI, I had to click on options several times to get them to function properly. There are some new game types that I had never played before. The Stream picker is something original I had not seen before in VR and it was very challenging (although not really fun). There were some twists on game types that made them seem new like the Explosives Range, which was probably the most fun mini-game. Even the Safehouse was a twist on the normal ol' wave shooter (and was the most fun wave shooter in the collection). If the mini-games were more fun I could forgive the poor graphics, sounds, and enemy UI. I think the poor hit detection on the flying bottle game just left a sour taste in my mouth. I don't think I would invite friends over to play this party mini-game collection. So it's a close call, but I can't recommend this game. Sale Price Rating 4.5/10 ... I would recommend this at $1.99 but expect a little more for $3.99, especially with the Rec Room being free and all and being much better or the Lab even.
Awesome party game. Competitive. Simple. Fun. Check out my video of the game: https://youtu.be/XCs3ziSeQOk
Someone monetized their first VR project.
VR Fun World is a VR exclusive set of low poly, badly made minigames (like simple wave survival shooting ranges and so on... very shallow, low quality stuff). From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy minimalist/untextured low-polygon "retro" assets and visuals, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the early 1990s. The lack of textures is a method that lazy devs often use to disguise their lack of talent/interest in doing the graphics properly and trying to disguise it under the name of "art", or "We made it look bad on purpose", which really isn't something gamers should have to put up with. It's unclear why the developers weren't willing to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets and high resolution textures for the game. It looks bad as a result of their decisions, and that's just another reason to avoid it. This seems to have been made a VR exclusive to prevent any comparison with non-VR 3D games, a comparison that this game would fail very badly at. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes the game great is the VR, then the game isn't great at all. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. VR Fun World didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for completing the tutorial, trivial to get, but less than 15 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. Hardly a success story, gamers just weren't all that interested in the game. The poor quality of this game is also reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 16 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. VR Fun World is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.
Too expensive for what you get even at $2.
It's a funny casual game with a lot of minigames. Regarding accesibility, con can play most game with one hand but you won't be too much competitive (there isn't anything to beat, just a scoreboard). You can play some games sitting down, but most of them require at least turning around. VR accessibility score ----------------------- One-handed = 6/10 Wheelchair = 3/10
Picked this up in a bundle and you know what, it's not 'completely' terrible for an obvious first project. Some of the minigames are pretty decent and everything works well. This game isn't 'really' a game, but it's a decent first step. Would like to see more from this dev.
