Mini games only last about 3-5 second then, *BAM,* mini-game OVER! You don't get enough time to enjoy the level(s)! Make an unlimited time mode and I might re-purchase this...Great idea, but the multiplayer aspect is truly weak--it's unrealistic to expect people to take ten minutes adjusting straps and pupillary distances between each player in "hotseat" mode. There's just too much setting up from player to player for individual HMD settings...needs PROPER multiplayer (over the 'net).
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Please note: I received a free Steam key through the Steam Curator Connect program. You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/rJ32s_mm0pg This is a good collection of mini-games for VR. This game is perfect for those looking for a party game in VR to play with friends over a few beers. There are 25 mini-games total. The mini-games are quick & zany for the most part. Obviously, some of the mini-games are more fun than others. Most were solid fun. You can play solo (challenges) or local multiplayer (tournament). I liked the visual presentation. The game ran smoothly and the art style is good for this type of game genre. However, this game lacks an announcer or VOs of any kind. The mini-games start suddenly and end quickly, some a little too quick. I would have liked to seen an improved pacing overall. Some of the mini-games would have been better if they had just lasted like 15-20 seconds longer. I think that adding an announcer VO to this game would have greatly improved the experience. I didn't experience any issues. I think the shooting mechanic in the gun mini-games could be improved. Some of the throwing physics could be a bit better as well. Still, this is one of the better VR party mini-game collections out there. Rate 7/10.

Game provided via the Steam Curator program. This game consist of mini-games. They are all quite fun! Totally recommended!
I would love to recommend this game, the graphics are great and the mini games are varied. However the experience is ruined for me by the following... 1. You need to use the grab button on HTC Vive for picking up and throwing, this is very uncomfortable and quickly leads to arm fatigue 2. Some Games are over far too quickly leaving you with no idea what to do, literally 5 seconds and game over 3. Challenges are displayed for 0.6ms at the end of each game, you can't read them! I can't recommend this game until the above issues are resolved
Well, this is good - but still blank - shot. I bought the game during my VR party with friends. We had around two beers and wanted to have fun. So the party game should just take you right away into the world of drunken fun (like Wario Ware games and stuff), but it does not. You need to learn rules about "challenges" and there is no description that will let you just say - oh maaaan, i want to throw some items at zombies, or - oh maaaan i want to shoot bad guys. What is more important - it's not interesting to be a spectator of the game. You need to catch some brains with fishing rod to feed your pet zombie - concept is good, but it's not interesting to watch how your friend doing this thing. Also in some challenges you can fail - and still not understand why. I mean - this is the game for drunken people, it should have zero learning curve, not punishing and funny. Graphics are good, some crazy humor you can still find - for example - try to rub your virtual "friends" on couch at the start screen - but after we tried this game for 20 mins we just got bored (you know - when party gets boring) and decided to move on with other games. Good luck with tuning this one up and making next titles, but for now i will ask for refund ((((((
Played on the Index HMD, with both the Vive & Index controllers The first word that sprung to mind when playing this was "Quality", from animations to transitions, you can feel the work that went into this one. Its common enough that VR titles can feel short and tech demo-like, so when I read this was a bunch of mini games I was apprehensive. But it seems the devs have taken the idea of actually putting on your HMD for a short period and getting something out of the experience, whether its 5 minutes or half an hour, and that there is something there for you to come back to - rather than letting it gather dust after one play. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1828435971 I have at the time of writing this played 10 of the 25 mini games. I am expecting my replacement Index controllers soon so I want something to re-test and something new to play (will update review). Each game typically lasts a matter of seconds! With 4 different challenges to aim for, along with a setting your own score/time. There is no filler here, as soon as the game is over you are presented with the score/goal screen and quickly the game starts again. For those seeking to hit those achievements, this is good news and keeps the action flowing. On the critical side, it offers no options - of any kind (unless they are well buried!) I would normally be scornful of this omission, but its not that big a deal here. Graphically it seems tuned well enough to run on modest hardware. On this note, I ran it on an Index @120Hz refresh rate (specifically to see if it would work - some games dont like the higher refresh rates!), it ran without issue and held 120fps easily with GPU power to spare (2080ti). So I would expect this game to run on more bang for buck hardware without a problem on gen1 HMDs and be able to hit target res/frame rate without a flagship GPU on newer HMDs. I wouldnt mind some audio sliders! The one option that would definitely help is the option to toggle grip where appropriate, you use them A LOT here and its my main take away from playing that this would get uncomfortable for anything more 20 minutes (for me and specifically when talking about the Vive wands.) It would be nice to see a practice type mode added, as the challenges are tough and cause games to last a very short time. Index controller update: Just spent a short time with the Index controllers. They work fine, altho the game does not natively support them. While it did feel more natural to play, spamming the grip button was starting to feel uncomfortable after a short time. Perhaps changing my grip would help, but it seems that no matter the controller, having to rapidly spam that action can only be done for short periods if you want to avoid discomfort. You can vary the games - as some dont require that action, but most do. So again, the option to have an alternative button would be welcome. This is an easy recommendation thanks to the fair price for whats on offer here.
A very polished little game you will dig. Game and character design are top notch. Menu and transitions are clever. My only criticism is the speed challenges are super fast...
In RADtv you sit on the sofa and watch TV, but every channel is a new game and there are 25 of them! The options that both single player and of course multiplayer offer are kept very minimal, but there is a possibility to change the design of the players hands - but only after unlocking. After a run-through of all 25 games, I had just gotten a new pair of hands... Since you don't actually move much in RADtv, it's a great couch potato party game. Despite the colorful graphics, the game is not necessarily suitable for children. There are different game scenarios. Often it depends on speed, fast shooting, grabbing or throwing. There are also some exceptions, such as RC car driving. However, you often only have a few seconds for the individual tasks, so it takes many desperate repetitions until you have completed a level completely. This makes for a lot of laughter among the other party guests. This is especially true for games where things like flying toast have to be grabbed. This can be one of the most annoying things in RADtv, the program sometimes doesn't register the grabbing very well. But I only played with the index controllers, with Vive-Wand, whose script button is even smaller, it could be even more complicated. To avoid boredom in 25 games there are additional tasks per level to increase the replayability. Each mini-game has four challenges - if you complete them all, you will receive one of the coveted hand models. RADtv is a fast fun, great for VR parties. With distinctive graphics, interesting character design and crazy gameplay, RADtv is not a video game that wants to be taken seriously.
