👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
Follow Second group
Follow Third group
English: Welcome to OctoRaid VR, the world of Blens, where we are either a two-armed octopus or a hunter in a diving suit battling it out in a shopping centre. This is exactly the concept of OctoRaid VR. The special thing about the game is that it is asymmetrically cross-platform capable, meaning that the VR player plays against people on a PC or smartphone. Only the VR player needs to own the original game. Everyone else can join via a free friend pass. As Octopus, we move through the shopping mall with our two (?) arms. We can use the trigger button to hold on and swing through the scenario. We can also grab objects to hurl or shoot them at the other player. Of course, we can also simply grab the other player and throw them around. There are lots of goodies that both parties can use in different ways. Snatching each other away is also a strategy ... The hunter is controlled on the PC. We controlled it using the mouse and keyboard. That works very well. As hunters, we try to defeat the Kraken. We shoot at the giant creature and try not to get hit ourselves. It's convenient for the hunter that the Kraken can't get into the labyrinthine rooms of the supermarket. ... Both player characters have special abilities. One can vomit, the other has a winch, for example. At the end of the day, I think the hunters have more fun in the game. The possibilities of the Kraken are somewhat limited. The graphics are sufficient for a pure party game. It has to be able to run on every carrot. The sound is just as colourful as the graphics and slightly annoying. Basically a fun party game for in between. The price is just about right, and fans of asymmetrical cross-platform games can buy it without hesitation during the sale. OctoRaid is fun. 👀Kraken and other goodies on🎊 my curator page. 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
Follow Second group
Follow Third group
Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
This is a neutral recommendation. I am unable to play online with friends because I don't have gaming friends. There are no bots, so you do need to have at least 1 online friend to play with, but I'm sure 4 friends would be ideal in a gaming party situation. The good news is that only the VR player needs to the buy the game, the rest can join via PC friend pass or through online mobile app. As the VR player, you are the Giant Octo (octopus) and you swing your tentacles around to move, pick up objects & throw them, and you have a special ability vomit as well, along with several power-ups available (health, shields, other special abilities). The hunters will run around and try to gang up on you. The graphics are cute. There is no smooth or snap turning though. You have to turn in real life. I was only able to do the tutorial and join a match, but with nobody to play with, there wasn't much for me to do. Like I said, I didn't really get to play the game, so I can't really say how fun the actual matches are. It seems to be fairly priced though so if you have gaming friends who are okay joining from PC or mobile for free, this may a party night where people take turns playing the VR headset, which is where I'm sure the real fun is. OctoRaid VR is an Early Access Paid Cross-Platform-Based Asymmetric PvP VR Party Game. It worked on my Index and HTC Vive and Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok, was understandable. You can download a free game to Windows PCs in local LAN that let you play the Hunter part of this game. The controls in the lobby are rather clunky. Maybe buy, if you are looking for local LAN multiplayer games. I got a free key for this from the Steam Curator program. Total time played = about 50 minutes. I use Air Link to play on my Quest 2, and ran the game through Oculus because it skips out a step. Unfortunately that cuts out some of the playtime through Steam. In any case, the game is pretty fun if you're into this sort of thing. You'll get to move around as a giant octopus and grab other players to drown them or launch them into walls and such. It certainly seemed more entertaining for my girlfriend who was playing the little dude running around trying to kill me. Your reach as the octopus is a bit small, and can take a little while to get used to having an arm span that's a bit shorter than you'd expect. Lots of things you can pick up and use, but most of those things are going to make sense for the other players. In the end, it's a fun experience that makes for a good party like game with friends.
Puntaje: 6/10 - PERO NO Recomendado
Pretty sure it's depreciated. And no local multiplayer
If you're looking for a game like this, this one is pretty polished. Unfortunately I can't play the game because I don't really have friends who would play something like this. But if you need a game like this that's multiplayer vs. PC this one seems pretty good.
