Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Some of the builds you can make are absolutely broken, and it's glorious to feel the sensory overload as you become an unstoppable killing machine set in. 10/10 Needs more bosses after threat level 50, so we can collect more dakka. VS2 will be even more glorious, I just know it ;)
Developed and published by 8BitSkull, Void Scrappers is a roguelite space shooter that takes the increasingly popular bullet heaven formula and strips it down to its most addictive elements. Fast movement, constant upgrades, overwhelming enemy waves, and a relentless sense of progression form the foundation of the experience. While the concept may initially seem familiar to anyone who has played modern survivor-style games, Void Scrappers distinguishes itself through its energetic pacing, space-themed setting, and emphasis on creating devastating ship builds capable of obliterating entire fleets of enemies. The core premise is straightforward. Players pilot a small spacecraft through dangerous sectors of space filled with hostile alien vessels. Destroyed enemies leave behind valuable scrap, which can be collected and converted into upgrades during the run. What begins as a vulnerable ship armed with basic weaponry gradually transforms into a heavily armed machine capable of flooding the screen with lasers, missiles, drones, and explosive attacks. This constant escalation of power forms the heart of the game's appeal and keeps every run engaging from beginning to end. One of the most enjoyable aspects of Void Scrappers is how quickly it establishes momentum. Unlike some games in the genre that require extended setup periods before becoming exciting, Void Scrappers starts generating meaningful decisions almost immediately. Upgrades appear frequently, enemy pressure increases steadily, and players are constantly encouraged to refine their builds. The rapid pace creates an addictive gameplay loop where every few minutes introduce new opportunities to strengthen the ship. Movement feels particularly responsive. The spacecraft handles smoothly, allowing players to navigate dense enemy formations and dangerous projectile patterns with precision. The inclusion of a dash mechanic significantly enhances mobility and separates the game from many slower-paced entries within the genre. Quick bursts of movement create opportunities for aggressive play while also providing an essential tool for survival during more chaotic encounters. The result is a gameplay style that feels active and engaging rather than purely reactive. Combat is built around automated weapons, but the depth comes from choosing how those weapons evolve throughout a run. Players can acquire a wide range of offensive systems, each contributing unique strengths and strategic possibilities. Some upgrades focus on raw damage output, while others emphasize area control, survivability, or crowd management. The variety ensures that no two runs feel exactly the same and encourages experimentation with different combinations. The upgrade system is where the game truly shines. Every run presents opportunities to create wildly different builds, and discovering powerful synergies becomes one of the most satisfying parts of the experience. Certain combinations can transform the ship into a devastating force capable of clearing entire waves before enemies have a chance to respond. Watching these builds come together provides a constant sense of excitement because each upgrade carries the potential to dramatically alter performance. Enemy variety helps prevent combat from becoming repetitive. Different alien ships exhibit unique movement patterns, attack behaviors, and threat levels. Some enemies rush aggressively toward the player, while others attack from a distance or appear in large numbers designed to overwhelm defenses. This variety encourages adaptation and prevents players from relying on a single tactic throughout the entire game. Boss encounters introduce additional challenge and spectacle. These larger enemies possess unique attack patterns and significantly greater durability, forcing players to engage more actively with the game's mechanics. Boss battles often serve as checkpoints that test the effectiveness of a build and reward successful players with valuable upgrades. They provide memorable highlights that break up the flow of standard enemy waves and contribute to the overall sense of progression. Long-term progression systems give players reasons to continue playing beyond individual runs. Resources earned during gameplay can be used to unlock new ships, weapons, characters, and permanent upgrades. These additions steadily expand the available options and introduce fresh strategies to explore. Even unsuccessful attempts contribute to future progress, ensuring that time invested always feels worthwhile. The variety of unlockable content adds significant replay value. Different ships offer unique starting abilities and playstyles, encouraging players to approach runs from different perspectives. Combined with the large number of upgrades available during gameplay, this creates a substantial amount of build diversity. Experimenting with new combinations becomes one of the main reasons to keep returning. Visually, Void Scrappers embraces a retro-inspired aesthetic that prioritizes clarity over complexity. The pixel-art presentation is clean and readable, which is particularly important during the later stages when the screen becomes crowded with enemies and projectiles. While the graphics are relatively simple, they effectively support the gameplay and maintain a distinctive arcade-like charm. The soundtrack deserves recognition for how well it complements the action. Fast-paced electronic music helps maintain the intensity of combat and reinforces the feeling of piloting a powerful spacecraft through hostile territory. The audio design as a whole contributes significantly to the game's energy, making each run feel exciting even during extended play sessions. Despite its strengths, Void Scrappers is not entirely free from limitations. Players seeking extensive narrative content or detailed world-building will find little emphasis on storytelling. The game focuses almost exclusively on gameplay progression, offering minimal context beyond the basic premise of surviving against alien threats. This approach works for the genre but may leave some players wanting a stronger narrative component. The overall structure can also become somewhat repetitive during longer sessions. While the upgrade variety helps maintain interest, the primary objective remains largely unchanged from run to run. Players who do not enjoy chasing higher scores, unlocking content, or experimenting with builds may eventually feel that they have experienced most of what the game offers. Additionally, the minimalist presentation means that environmental variety is somewhat limited compared to larger roguelites. The emphasis remains firmly on combat rather than exploration, and players looking for expansive worlds or elaborate level design may find the experience relatively straightforward. What ultimately makes Void Scrappers successful is its focus. The game understands exactly what it wants to achieve and executes that vision effectively. Every mechanic supports the core goal of creating fast, satisfying progression and spectacular moments of destruction. The combination of responsive controls, rewarding upgrades, strong replayability, and energetic pacing creates an experience that is easy to learn and difficult to stop playing. Void Scrappers is a polished and highly enjoyable roguelite that successfully captures the addictive qualities of the bullet heaven genre while adding its own distinctive space-combat identity. Its satisfying progression systems, impressive build variety, responsive gameplay, and strong replay value make it a standout title for fans of survival shooters. While its limited narrative and relatively simple structure prevent it from reaching the heights of larger roguelites, its focused design and consistently entertaining gameplay ensure that it remains a rewarding experience from the first run to the hundredth.
