Void Collector is a speedrunning FPS with a unique weapon-switching system, focusing on tightly designed stages that can be replayed over and over again to get faster and faster.
USE A LARGE ARSENAL OF WEAPONRY
Utilize a variety of powerful weapons with many different effects. From a powerful, knockback-inducing shotgun, to an uppercut that sends you and your opponents soaring, to a middle finger that fires an immensely powerful laser, there's an ideal weapon for any situation.
MASTER THE SYSTEM
Press 1-5 on the keyboard to toggle each finger of your hand on or off. This adds a layer of difficulty that allows for a ton of deep skill expression and clever tactics.
FIGHT A TON OF ENEMIES
Blast through a wide array of enemies. From the projectile-shooting Gunther to the bomb-placing Steve Strike, these guys are sure to keep you on your toes at all times!
MANAGE YOUR RESOURCES
Attacking drains your JUICE meter, but defeating enemies gets some back! There's also a combo system, which rewards skillful play with more Juice to use so that you can pull off impressive skips! But be careful, playing too recklessly will leave you open to attack!
BECOME A VOID MASTER
Each stage has a target time to beat to test the most skilled players in their weapon-swapping and rapid movement abilities! Void Collector focuses on a high skill-ceiling to ensure it's fun to play and replay over and over again!
COLLECT DOODADS
Each main stage has a hidden piece of 'memorabilia' to collect. Find them all to understand the history of the mysterious Void Collector and those who hunt it!

A game that is very fun to play go give it a try
Haven't gotten much time to play yet, but it's definitely a fun game. I still haven't fully figured out the numbers corresponding to switching fingers though, thought it would be straightforward press 1 to change to single finger, but instead some numbers invert your hand and such. Overall I don't think this is much of a big deal once you have everything memorized, and also if you don't want to use that, there's a radial menu for each gun by pressing f, it just takes longer.

I LOVE VOID COLLECTOR!!! YEAAAH anyways, the game is really fun! the scheme is really hard to master but it makes for a good challenge
I just started playing, and the movement is pretty solid. Rn I have the dash weapon saved (pinky, pointer, thumb) so when I start levels I can instantly fling myself using it and the charged dash. Plus, from what I can tell, the levels and weapon combos seem like they are going to be really fun to try to master.

This review is a recommendation for this game since I believe it's still worth a try, but this review IS going to be mainly critical. I'll confess; I played through the whole game and never really felt like I "got it." Even with the option of the weapons wheel, switching between weapons never felt like a perfectly clean process, and the sheer amount of options got overwhelming. And I think I can poke at why this might be outside of the unique control scheme for the fingers. Void Collector is a game that throws basically everything it has for you at once, save for individual world mechanics and a few introduced enemies. Imagine, for a moment, if Ultrakill immediately started you off with all of its weapons and fists. If Cruelty Squad gave you all 30 of its weapons in the first level. It's overwhelming, especially when each weapon is intended to string into others in very particular ways for speedrunning. There are other things I could poke at (the final boss broke for me on my first playthrough- just got stuck and let me shoot it to death easily. probably worth looking into if nobody beat me to bringing it up) but I feel like this is the core of it. I feel like Void Collector would have benefited a lot from trickling its weapon options to you more gradually- though, given the scale of the game, I can see how this would be difficult if not impossible. Worth keeping in mind either way. Very nice game overall- this review remains a recommendation for a reason. Excited for the incoming DLC that seems like it'll patch up a few holes.
Great game! It's designed with speedrunners in mind, which I am not, but I still had a blast despite getting only "mediocre" ratings lol. The movement is so fluid. It's so satisfying to get into a flow state of just pure "go go go." The levels are nicely designed, if slightly basic, to really highlight this movement. There are a variety of enemies that call for different hand gestures. A good portion of the hand gestures are really there for movement and gaining more speed and momentum for speedruns. I played the game more casually and slower-paced, so I wound up not really using them, but I am satisfied with the amount of hand gestures I did wind up using. The art style is very unique and fun. The music is great. Literally, not a thing in this game is bad or worthy of criticism. Nice little short game worthy of your $10.
