About
A cosmic anomaly has shattered the universe, leaving it fractured and chaotic. Fragments of a broken world—eroded rocks, rusted machinery, ancient ruins—drift together in an unstable mix. Past and future blur as you navigate a constantly shifting realm, where every fall sends you back to the beginning. Conquer the void before it consumes everything.
Jump and dash through disintegrating cosmic chaos. Deploy your platform spawner to save a fall or forge your own path to the summit.
Every action drains energy, from leaping between rock formations to executing strategic parkour moves. Replenish your life force by landing on rocky outcrops or collecting scattered matter and minerals. Energy management is crucial in this dynamic struggle for survival.
Unlock powerful upgrades that turn the tide in your favor. Dramatically increase your speed, extend dash distance, amplify jump height, and gain access to new types of spawnable platforms.
The world is procedurally generated. Each run reshuffles the cosmos, crafting a uniquely volatile environment. Navigate ever-shifting pathways as you race to the top.

Void Climber has an incredibly satisfying movement system with great air control. It feels very smooth, and once you start mastering the game, chaining platforms and finding a path quickly becomes extremely rewarding. It’s perfect for speedrunning or just casually playing for fun. The game is challenging but remains accessible to everyone!
This... game... is... A non-stop-hyper-critical-fast-paced-decision-collision!!! Want to get used to a pattern? Play the same level each time knowing what to expect? Not a chance! Welcome to traversing the disintegrating terracotta of Void Climber from the minds of mad lads! Endless re-playable, and addicting! Play as fast, or as slow as you like, but choose carefully, or everything you worked for is up in smoke as you fall to the abyss.
super fun roguelike platformer with huge potential to be the next speedrunning game controls feel fantastic--the auto-grab can be unforgiving so i tend not to rely on it the upgrades feel balanced with the rarity system adding variety and a huge dopamine boost when i see a rare upgrade worth $5 to spend an afternoon jumping on branches, rocks, columns and so on
A breath of fresh air in the platforming genre, this game creates the feeling of exploring a vertical forest. Each ascent feels like scaling mysterious ancient architecture, where quick thinking and strategic planning are equally important. What truly sets this experience apart is how it transforms simple platforming into something almost meditative. Whether you're carefully plotting your next leap or improvising a daring sequence of moves, there's a unique rhythm to each climb that makes success feel both calculated and instinctive. It's this delicate balance between thoughtful strategy and fluid movement that keeps drawing you back to its towering challenges.
Played a fair bit of the demo, so adding in that time, here. As far as those "starting from the bottom" kinda platformers, this one is definitely very solid. Unlike most in the genre, it has a consistent theme, for one. The randomized and rogue-ish elements definitely contribute to a fine overall package.
A short game where you manage your resources and platform/build your way to the top
Pros
• Easy to speedrun • Not too hard while offering a good challenge • Replayable • Once you get the hang of it takes 8-12 minutes to beat so you can rush a game out before you leave to work • No gamebreaking bugs (or any minor bugs i can find)
Cons
• Is a lil too short there is only 1 level • The music is very minimal, should have ur own music playing • Sometimes the auto grapple can be finicky, even with how much i've played this and the beta i still can't get a grasp on what i can and cant grapple
Final Thoughts
Overall the game is great and a fun way to get into speedrunning with some cool niche momentum mechanics that you can use to your advantage once you figure them out.
Felky Fun Meter

|-------|---| [7/10] Pretty fun!
I like the different biomes and their shapes (some are more vertical, some are more horizontal); I like the upgrades from the towers and they all feel powerful and significant; I like that if I enjoy a specific seed I can lock it and try to get good.. This could have been my favorite climbing game but having to spend a resource to double-jump is really frustrating and ends up sucking out all the fun of running through the game.. I can't stop myself from spamming spacebar and jumping around everywhere in a game like this so when doing so is putting the main resource of the game to zero faster than I can get it back; I just can't. Also I understand why platforms disappears and it makes the game harder but it's very frustrating to get super high to a point and realise that there is no more available routes because I took to much time to get there.. All of those issues would be solved if there was some kind of options or settings to customise the run. I would love to try to climb to the end with unlimited time so less pressure; and no cost on double-jump so less frustration. ..that would be FUN.
If you are interested in playing a dynamic platformer, this game is definitely a great place to begin. It takes a very unique approach to what has otherwise been a fairly standard genre, with a number of interesting innovations that help to differentiate it from other platformers out there. It is fast-paced and challenging, and the fact that the level is constantly randomized means you can always try new and more difficult "seeds." The ability to copy a level (using those seeds) and try it out yourself also means you can compete with your friends, and other players, to see who can beat a given level the quickest. Overall, the developers took a relatively simple genre and have managed to successfully create a game that never really loses its charm and enjoyment. I highly recommend this game for anyone who is interested in trying a new challenge!
Having played some Foddian games in the past, and watched numerous playthroughs of others (Getting Over It, Only Up, and Get To Work, to name a few), I am fairly familiar with the Foddian genre; Void Climber is a welcomed addition, with its own unique twist. By incorporating aspects from procedural and rogue-like games, Void Climber takes what would ordinarily require immense quantities of skill and patience, and adds components of strategy as well. Being procedurally generated, the game is infinitely replay-able, and the seeded mode allows for refinement of strategies and skills against an unchanging level layout. With the upgrade system, you can tailor your experience to match your preferred play style. While I have not personally managed to reach the top on the seeds I have played, I have never felt unfairly punished for my lack of skill. Exploring the upgrades and infinite level layouts that Void Climber offers, not to mention the beautiful scenery, is consistently enjoyable. I would recommend this game to anyone.
If you like sweaty palms and abstract puzzle jumping. This game is for you.
