Run. Gun. Search. Acquire. Construct. Repeat. oh... and don't forget to eat. I was shocked. This game was way more fun than I expected. Also use the challenge modes early.
A amazing game with an even better style! If you don't play this you are missing out
While the gameplay is solid (if kind of unremarkable) the comic book aesthetic and dry British humor really put it over the top. One of my go-to "fifteen minutes during lunch" games.
Nice game.

A fun take on the rogue-like genre with decent FPS mechanics and combat spiced up by fairly interesting guns and devices that you get to use. Unfortunately, where the weapons and tools you get to use are varied and interesting and there is a decent amount of them, the variety of enemies and most importantly, locations, is very limited and the game becomes very repetitive. I still recommend it and I'm pretty sure most players will find the game great in the first couple of hours, but only few will be willing to push past that, so waiting for a significant discount is probably the best option. Technically speaking, the game ran great, I encountered no bugs or crashes, it looks pretty good with its cartoon sprite enemies and weapon effects and cell-shaded 3D environment. Sounds are also great overall, especially explosions, which also look good to boot. Blowing stuff up in this game is simply fun and at least I personally was drawn to explosives and AoE weapons for this reason, but the rest of the arsenal is generally just as effective and satisfying to use. As for the writing and story, it's mostly just a string of anti-corporate jokes which can elicit a chuckle here and there, but generally fall pretty flat and the ending is just super unsatisfying. The universe itself is also not all that interesting, just your run of the mill Sci-Fi corporate dystopia, there's nothing really interesting here aside from a few things about the actual location (Sargasso Nebula or whatever it was called) of the game and what's happening there. Unfortunately, this never gets fleshed out and instead you get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ comics "cutscenes" with overused jokes straight out of third-rate sitcoms.
